Not fit for purpose
While this product is well made it is regretably, not fit for purpose. I found the following problems: 1) Bellt clip doesn't work well with belts gteater than 38mm (1.5") wide, so it doesn't fit any belt as claimed. 2) The elasticated belt doesn't fit any of my cordless tools, so again it doesn't live up to it's claim to fit any tool. The only tool it does fit is my Maglight, but even then because of the "ball & socket" designe, it flops around on the hip like a fish out of water. Sorry to be so negative.

Handy but with quirks...
All-in-all I am still able to use this item but the safety trigger isn’t working after fairly limited usage. Gravity keeps things in place, but that’s not really what was advertised. The company also supply a zip tie to help keep the Velcro wrap for the handle secure. The Velcro is quite wide and holds well but the manufacturers seem to think a belt and braces is necessary. After a few months of being scratched by the zip tie and discomfort it caused on the drill grip I decided to eliminate the zip tie and it works fine.It is worth buying and very handy when you’re up a ladder juggling tools but could possibly have a slight rethink in the design studio to sort out those strange bits.Buy it, but don’t use the zip tie - it’s more hassle than it’s worth.

Ridiculously expensive but equally good
Sick to death of my screw gun digging me in the leg as I walked about or climbed a ladder with it hanging from the hammer loop of my tool belt, I just had to find another option. Holster? Nope, too much of a pain to stow and release one handed as I work off a ladder, especially as you’d need to re-buckle it every time to ensure tool security. Holsters are pretty cumbersome to have on your belt too. Often, even with the belt pulled so tight I could barely breath, it would still start to creep down around my arse and just be uncomfortable to climb with.I made the decision that I wanted my screw gun up near my abdomen to keep it out of the way. Only way to do that was with a vest. Didn’t like the Snickers one because I couldn’t see a way of securing my screw gun in the place I wanted it, so in the end I opted for a police/military style Molle vest with multiple loops. Looks ridiculous I know but I just don’t care, with hindsight I’d have gone for black though.Got my vest, now…how to attach my screw gun? Tried a rhino hook thing but the trigger would operate when I dropped the gun in, plus it stuck out too far. So more googling led me to Spidertools. HOW BLOODY MUCH??!!Yep, they are crazy expensive but they are worth every penny.I feel a warm glow every time I grab and re-stow my tool. Though that may just be from the embarrassment of looking like a wannabe copper climbing a ladder. Oh well, it works! They lock every time you stow the tool and they’re easy to get the hang of releasing one handed. It’s a bit of a faff putting the lug onto your tool and I was convinced it would make holding the tool uncomfortable but you don’t even notice it’s there. Brilliant design that just works.

These are great! Definitely recommended
As a builder and roofer of over 30 years, I have accidently dislodged my drill or driver from my tool pouch several times lately. The standard Makita hooks can dislodge easily when kneeling on a roof or climbing a ladder, once falling and hitting my sons arm whilst he held the ladder. So I searched and found these. They are great. Very secure and well thought out. A little pricey but then again for the safety they're worth it. I will be buying more!

its ok, but way over priced!
Quality of the belt clip is ok, its quite limited in its use, if you have a slightly wider belt then its no use.less enthused about the velcro part, not to the same quality.Overall would say its twice the price it should be for something like this of this quality.
