John MacArthur is one of the foremost teachers of the bible in the world today. As I expected the MacArthur Study Bible provides me with dates, outlines, chronology, themes, maps, a concordance plus a vast number of explanatory notes edited by John MacArthur so that in one volume I can have all the basic essential tools for reading and studying the bible. The NASB large print version is as you would expect quite bulky and is probably better suited to being on a desk than carried around but the print is very easy to read. I probably would have preferred a different colour leather cover (the black looks rather sombre) but its the content inside that matters! Definitely recommended.

This is a very good study Bible providing essential information and explanation. I use it to study the Scriptures for more accurate details. It is a very essential guide to learning.
