A Very Nice Little Knife
This is a very nice little knife - sturdy and very sharp. One of the most experienced deer guides I've ever known used a gutting knife just long enough for him to lay his forefinger along. Many Detroit woodsmen came equipped with huge Bowie knifes and were far less efficient. Marvin got his knife during WW II on Guadalcanal. If you must purchase your knife, I recommend this one. The knife is thick and strong, with a tang that extends all the way through the handle. It is very sharp. The handle may be too small for someone with large hands - hard to get a firm grip. However, overall, it is well worth the money. I don't plan on gunning down a white tail any time soon, so I won't be using this knife for field dressing a large mammal. I will, however, be happily using it around camp.

Great knife, Sheath has issues
I fervently hope that the manufacturer reads their reviews. Love the knife. Purchased it because it meets the criteria for concealed carry of knives in my state. Readers, it is easy to do an Internet search on the requirements for your state. I have strapped the sheath to my left arm using a paracord bracelet, also from Amazon. The problem is with the snap on the sheath. It is difficult to open one-handed. Especially since it will be under my coat sleeve. Not sure how to solve the problem because velcro is noisy. Some closure is necessary because the knife is small and slides out very easily. Again, the knife itself is beautiful and very well made. If I can't solve the sheath problem I might strap it to my ankle without the snap because gravity will hold the knife in the sheath.

Perfect little piggyback knife for larger blades. I got this knife as a companion to my Becker BK9 and I had an old strap kicking around so I used that to wrap it around the little life sheath and the stock Bk9 sheath and it looks really good and feels comfortable wearing this setup. It actually does fit inside the pocket of the Becker sheath but since I have a multitool in that pocket, I had no choice but to just mount it on the side of the Bk9 sheath without having to sacrifice one or the other. This little knife is so cool, the pakkawood is really well finished almost looking like cocobolo wood. Knife has little finger grooves on the handle but if you have medium to large hands, this is still a 3 finger knife. It would be great if this little knife had a choil but the ricasso is just big enough to be able to put your finger on it and choke up on the blade to be able to do up close fine work. This knife is a hollow grind and has a wicked clip point on it that it's higher than the spine of the knife and I would assume that if you did use this knife for skinning, it would be perfect because the clip point will actually cover your finger if you were to run your finger along the spine and use it to skin game. People who know what they're doing, know that this is an almost perfect knife for the job. If you held this knife in the icepick position, it almost looks like your holding a Karambit. I really like this knife. It has a good fit & finish, sheath of course is cheap quality so I might look around and get a leather sheath or kydex made for it since I highly favor this knife. I really don't like sending any of my knives off to get fitted for a sheath because I have trust issues, but this knife is so cheap that I wouldn't mind sending it off to a sheath maker as a template for a custom sheath. That said, it's up to you if you want to get this little knife as part of your collection or for actual field use, you can't go wrong either way. I mean, I don't know what people expect, it's a tiny knife, it's not going to be capable of chopping down a tree or pry a door if your trapped somewhere, it's a skinning knife, and a fairly good one at that. I gave this knife 5 stars but technically I wanted to give it a 4.5 really. It would be a full 5 stars if it came with a lanyard hole on it. Mine came fairly sharp, but felt it could be sharper so I sharpened it, you can see there's no scratches on my blade because I'm pretty good at sharpening any steel. Anyway it's a great knife to add to your collection and at $9 how could anyone complain? Who knows, you might find other uses for this cool little knife that I may have not thought of. And to those who complain about not being razor sharp, learn how to sharpen a knife!

The knife came scalpel sharp! Nice sturdy blade with full tang, good balance and well attached solid wooden handle, good multipurpose belt knife and ideal knife for skinning small game, good sturdy sheath, you won't find a better knife for less than double or triple the asking price, great purchase! (The snap on the sheath came apart when I opened mine, but my wife took 2 min replacing it, like new! Still deserving of 5 stars even with the minor repair! Very satisfied!

I sat down in my car. I noticed something kinda shiney in my peripheral.. it was my knife pointed upwards. The sheath something broke and the knife fell out. it almost gave me the diddy treatment. I was very close to having this knife in my backside.

Little small but really nice. Everything is perfect. I wish they didn't a little better case. It seems a little loose in there and I wouldn't be worried about losing it but other than that, I give it a 4 very fast. Deleverything else is cool.

My favorite little knife for being out foraging. It is light and can hook to my belt easily. Sharp edge and easy to hold and cut for a small handed person.
