I didn't use the Velcro strips, I just pushed the tabs into the window seam and done. It holds well. I roll the window up and down a lot for my dog and it hasn't slid up at all.

Okay these are freaking amazing! I just bought a car with leather interior and didn’t want my dogs tearing up the doors (because they like to hang their heads out the windows of course) and this is a life saver! It slides in between the window and door perfectly. I think the little plastic suction cup is kind of pointless though. I never attach that part to the window because when you try to roll the window down it gets messed up. You also can’t roll the window completely down because it sometimes will get messed up, so I leave a few inches when rolling down and they stay put fine.

I wish I had known about this product before my dog dug into my window edges in my Subaru Forester! You can see the damage she's done in the first picture. When installing the shields I did not use the velcro nor did I hook on the suction cup. So far so good. Nothing has moved and Audrey spends most of the car ride standing with her head out the window. I highly recommend the shields to protect your car. They fit fine on the back doors of my Subaru. I like that they came in different colors. I was able to get a black one to go with the black seat protector that I have. I would recommend these to anyone who has a dog who likes to put their paws on the window edge.

I considered giving this a 4 star review but I think 5 starts is what it deserves and here is why! I have an Alaskan malamute who drooled so much in my last car, a Subaru Impreza, to the point where I had to get the motors for the windows replaced and dropping much more money than I had wanted to. After buying a new Subaru Crosstrek I knew I needed to protect my cars interior. I stumbled onto this cover that I'm enjoying after having it for the past few months now. It is durable great quality material even after washing it and does what it is intended for, protecting against excessive drooling!I browsed at similar products and found the inserts that go into the window to be better than the others which look to be like a plastic film that looks useless. This cover has hard plastic inserts that will fit down into the door, just got to find the right spots. NOW I will mention the inserts will pop up if you roll the window all the way down and then up again, a quick fix. They will fling out of the door if the windows are all the way down and going 60-70mph+ and to be honest if it weren't for the suction cup that makes sure your cover doesn't fly out the window completely, it would of flew right out the window onto the road. I kept seeing peoples reviews about how crappy the suction cup is but a handful of times I caught it still holding on while the inserts were out of the door. THANK GOODNESS. One more thing to note, the velcro strips that come with this cover...ABSOLUTE trash. haha so I went to the store to buy the scotch brand of velcro strips($7) that work so much much better. I highly recommend you replace those crappy ones you get with your cover with the better strips to secure your cover down so it isn't flapping all over the place and doesn't just melt off in the summer time. No need to thank me! I don't consider the velcro to be apart of the cover itself so it doesn't reflect on its 5 star review I'm taking the time to write down. I do hope this helps other people come to the decision!

Bought these along with the waterproof bench seat cover by Plush Paws - love them both! These were easy to install - they clip in nice and snugly and there is one of those suction cups for the window - didn't even need to use the little stickie things that are provided for further securing them on the door. My doors have some dark hard vinyl and some light colored cloth, and my rescue dog Sam (lab mix) likes to swim, so they are perfect for protecting my new used car....

I LOVE this product!! I have two dogs who roam around the back of my car and drool all over everything. This product literally saved my car. I purchased them for my 2019 Subaru Forester sport. They fit pretty good they are a tad small on the width but it’s ok. They are so easy to install and u can tell they aren’t gonna fall out. They also have a super soft back so it won’t hurt your doors. I literally love this product so much.

I chose this item over the ones with net pockets as I could imagine nails sliding down the cover would get caught in the netting. This is much better. Didn't need to use the velcro either, just put tabs in window slot and it stays in place. This is exactly what we needed!

We have two rambunctious dogs that go camping with us. We bought a new car and we’re afraid they would tear up the upholstery under the windows when looking out! This product is wonderful! It covers the whole area, is simple to install, looks like leather and works! Thanks so much for making it!

Los protectores son de muy buen material, pero si los pones solo con las pestañas plásticas que can metidas en los vidrios de salen de su lugar muy rápidamente. Mis perros son súper inquietos y no tardaron ni 3 minutos en safarlos, a fuerza tendré que pegarlos con las tiras de velcro, lo cual no me agrada.

Es un producto con buena calidad en materiales y se ajustó perfecto a mi auto. Los seguros son muy funcionales ya que la mascota aún cuando se para en la ventana, no refuta el protector. Cumple perfectamente con la función que esperaba. Lo recomiendo al 100%.
