My old fire ring rusted and burned out from my propane fire pit. I ordered this to replace it and it far exceeds my expectations. The welds are strong and the piece is solid, fed from a central 1in. pipe fitting.I can't wait to enjoy it more after I get some more lava rock for my pit.

20lb propane tank ices up fairly fast if half or less but is usable. Recommend a larger tank if cranking the flames.

We are using natural gas for our fire bowl and changed out the burner to the Stanbroil 24”. The flames definitely are higher than a traditional burner without the “jets”. Picture is of the bowl on a low flame gas setting. High is significantly higher but the burner does tend to whistle on the highest gas pressure.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this burner for 3 reasons: 1) it's size (30"), 2) the jets (heard they make better flames), and 3) because others said it DOES NOT WHISTLE! Guess what? IT WHISTLES!! At all the settings, from low flame to high. Obviously, the higher the flame, the louder it whistles. But even at a low flame setting, the whistle is loud enough to be terribly annoying. If I discover that I've done something wrong (not sure what I could have done wrong the install and setup are very straight-forward) or if perhaps it needs to run for a while before the whistle goes away, I'll upgrade my rating. But if not, back it will go.That being my biggest complaint, I will say that if you are deaf or you enjoy whistling sounds, this burner is for you. The jets produce really tall flames, and the product itself is very sturdy and seems well made.

I have a Hearth n Home FaGata gas fireplace and the replacement parts are very expensive.This part works and saved me a lot of money.Tip....this fire-ring/tube has the fire coming out the bottom of the ring.

I read the reviews about it having a loud hissing sound but I do not have that. I am getting a flame almost 4ft high when turned up without the hissing, I have run it for about 15 minutes at a time only now. I am running a large line (1 1/2") necked down for the supply. Have not gotten a chance to use it long as I am in AZ and it is over 110 degrees now. Will update when it cools down if I get the loud hissing mentioned by others.

The media could not be loaded. This 18” one worked perfectly for my home natural gas fire pit project. Grabbed a 24’ 1/2 flex line off Amazon and three bags of lava rocks. Then I went to a local big box hardware store and got the cold steel piping and brass ball valve and fittings.My patio is serviced by 3/8 copper line and a two outlet quick release box. The 18” one puts out a lot of heat and flame. Gas meter was spinning pretty quick. The larger sizes would be overkill in my mind. The quality of the fire ring looks great so far. Threads were high quality.
