Even though it's a very simple concept and item, it was invaluable on a recent scuba dive. We were able to attach the camera to a ring on the scuba vest and didn't have to worry at all about the camera falling to the bottom of the ocean. 4 stars because it was a little more money than I would have preferred, but it did a great job.

... for those times you put GoPro in a place where it falling may result in its total loss (or someone getting hurt.) I have used it mostly when getting timelapses from outside the window. Sure, the GoPro suction cup is sometimes shown attached to the wing of Cessna and the like, but what's one more layer of security when sticking your action camera to an 8th floor window?It's lightweight, small, thin enough to go through closed windows and door jams. For most needs I believe it'll be just the right length without getting in the way.

It is what it is. But If your going to the track save your money and just buy some safty wire. Easier and tech will approve it.

Great peace of mind; excellent quality. I strongly recommend this item to those that mount their GoPro in places where they could lose them!

Stainless good around salt water and a must have for a gopro if you really want your camerato come out of the water with you

It's a cable, but they smoothed any rough edges and neatly looped/crimped the ends, so it's a good cable.
