We love it.
We bought the canned beef in Ohio all the time. We moved to SC and could not find it. I checked Amazon and found it. We use it for beef and noodles and beef veg. soup. It is delicious and don’t want to be without it again.

Good taste aand tender chunks
Be aware there is a lot of broth in the can. It is not full of meat.

great smell and taste!
Easy to cook with. honestly, I gave this away to someone else but it seems like really good meat. I just decided that I can't eat this stuff because I just keep getting ketoacidosis or something like that.

Apparently good meat, but the cans may not be as full as expected
These days it's handy to have some food supplies on the shelf, so I ordered up some Grabill canned beef chunks. Canned meat should last for years, doesn't require refrigeration, and precooked meat could be eaten out of the can in an emergency. I chose the Grabil beef for it's apparent quality, with the "Amish" tickler adding a hint of practicality. The chunks of meat in the cans are irregular, so they fit loosely in the can. The second can I opened was only about 2/3 full. The quality and taste of the beef is very acceptable, and if you're feeding a family the can size is OK. However, I was a bit disappointed in the deal. I've continued to look for precooked canned meat that's packed a bit tighter in cans about half the size, to make it more useful for an entree for one or two people. And, I'm considering meat packed in gravy rather than water. If you are looking for meat that's precooked, in a quantity suitable for three or four hungry mouths, the Grabill Country Meats canned beef chunks is a very common sense choice, and it's reasonably free of additives.

Just like I had when I grew up
Although the meat was not as chunky as I remembered, it tasted the same and was equally great with beef/noodles. Very Amish/Mennonite, it is the brand I had when visiting my uncle's farm . VERY easy to use and adaptable to any recipe calling for canned beef. There is nothing added to the beef, and it does not taste 'tinny.' I used one can with one pound of egg noodles for my dish...and my with and I had it two days in a row and then some. HIGHLY recommendedNOTE: I now buy the two-pack of smaller cans and use one can to 1/2 pound of egg noodles for beef and noodles

Best of the three brands I tried
I tried three brands, one that was chunks (and very good), the other ground (somewhat bland) and this (better than expected and the best of all). I had never had beef and (egg) noodles (mixed with fresh garlic, butter, olive oil and oregano before we added a can of beef heated with caramelized onions). Plus fresh grated parmesan. Even though my family had just had a huge fight we all enjoyed this meal.UPDATE: After two orders, for some reason most of the cans are dented enough to make you wonder if they were used as weapons in Family Court.
