Very important info!
THANK YOU! Finally a book that isn’t just a list of tricks and actually dives into the important aspects of pole. I have been teaching pole for 6 years and it’s so rare to get a book like this. It’s cool to learn tricks, but I have gotten so many students that “taught themselves” until they ended up hurt.

This book has nothing to do with pole dancing. It's a basic fitness book, and I have way more than enough on that already. Very disappointing.

Good Introspective Of Pole and Movement
The book was more introspective and philosophical than I thought. It provides good information but if you are looking for more tutorial instruction on various moves this really does not provide the plethora of material I personally was looking for.

This is a very informative book, great for those new to pole fitness as well as for those who are already practicing it. It is well researched and well written.

its a good book because it reminded me of how i really should rest and not feel guilty for it. but it is a bit repetitive.

Pole Athletes Should Read This.
This book is well researched and well written. I have trained and spoken with many pole athletes and this is information that many of them do not know. If they would follow the guidelines discussed in this book, they would improve their pole skills.

Has good tips/advices
The book has good tips and advices, but the parts about pole dancing are very brief. It wasn't necessary a book about this - an article in a magazine would be enough.

Good sports physiology text book
An excellent book about sports physiology with good specifics to the nature of dance, and vertical dancing.

Disappointed
I was hoping for a detailed description of how to correctly train the body to avoid injury when completing pole tricks, but there is barely any mention of pole. Only one page in the entire book describes (briefly) the common injuries associated with pole, the rest of the book is general fitness and training principles.

ce livre est inutile, c'est une perte d'argent. Que de théorie, aucune pratique, je n'ai pas aimé. J'ai fait une erreur en l'achetant.

Not a must have
I wanted to have some books to read about pole fitness, the price of this book led me to buy it. but also as the other reviewers wrote, it just repeats itself all over. It is an easy to read book, if you are a starter there are good hints, but overall it is just composed of 1 or maybe 2 idea. You don't need a whole book for that.on the preview here (altho it is a kindle preview) the pictures were in color but the printed book has b&w pictures. Doesn't effect at all (plus they are just simple stock pictures) but I was kind of disappointed. I also do not like that the papers are so white.
