A very interesting combination of circumstances have come together to make this beautiful horse hoof leg dining room table possible. It is important to note that the table is considered new. Recently, in England, our furniture craftsman happened across these uniquely carved table legs. He was able to craft a wonderful yew wood top to go with them and the result is this stunning piece you see here now! Yew wood is a stunning wood with a golden color. The grain is peppered with little bird’s eyes. To further enhance the look of the table he has added faux plank lines (makes the top look like separate planks of wood even though it is not) and faux nail head covers. The sides are given a worn or hand hewn look as well. The result is an elegant farmhouse table. As you can see in the photos, each leg is covered with finely detailed carvings. Each shaped leg ends in a cloven horse hoof. A straight apron connects the legs and keeps the entire dining room table sturdy. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the apron is a full 25″ so almost any chair will fit comfortably underneath. The entire table has been finished with a traditional hand rubbed finish that requires many layers of polish to create a stunning look and sheen. Combined with the gorgeous wood and unique carvings, this is a dining table you will not find anywhere else and will never be made again! Overall dimensions:97.25" w x 42.5" d x 30.5" h
