I gave the Experia Innovations USB3115 Wall Outlet High Speed 3.1 AMP Dual USB Charger Receptacle - UL Approved Tamper Resistant Wall Plates - 2 USB Charging Ports - Ultra Fast Charging for Smartphones, Tablets five stars. The reason I gave this wall outlet five starts is because it is a great product. I replaced quite a few outlets in my house with these. It is extremely convenient to not have to have a power block to charge your phone or tablet. I replaced both outlets in our master bedroom behind our night stands. We had really crappy outlets in the wall before and our phone charger kept falling out of the outlet. After replacing them with the Experia Innovations USB3115 Wall Outlet we do not have any issues at all with our chargers falling out because we use the USB ports. I have purchased other ones and these charger our phones and devices faster then any other ones we bought. The installation was really easy. I was worried about them fitting in the wall but they fit just like a glove. The face plate fit perfectly over the outlet unlike other brands. I would highly recommend these wall outlets to anyone replacing bad outlets. The price is cheaper then most and is by far a better product then the more expensive ones

THESE OUTLETS ARE SO GREAT BECAUSE THEY LET YOU CHARGE YOUR MOBILE DEVICES WITHOUT TYING UP YOUR OTHER OUTLETS. THEY ARE EASY TO INSTALL, JUST REMEMBER TO TURN OFF THE POWER BEFORE SWAPPING THEM OUT WITH THE OLD OUTLETS.UPDATE: I installed these in a kitchen near a counter-top where I would charge my phone overnight and had a problem. Because the outlet was in the"kitchen" it was inline with a GFI outlet. I replaced the GFI with this outlet and had to change the circuit breaker in the garage to a GFI so we would still be in compliance with Code. This was done with the assistance of a licensed electrician. After completion, the GFI worked for a couple of months, but then began tripping all the time. After much trial and error, I brought in another electrician who after three visits finally was able to resolve the issue by removing the outlet and reinstalling a GFI back in the kitchen and a regular circuit breaker at the panel. It appears that the GFI at the panel was too sensitive and any variation in current at the actual outlet in the kitchen would cause it to trip. Bottom line: don't install this outlet inline with a GFI circuit. I have successfully used other outlets like this and had no problem. Using them concert with a GFI circuit breaker is a problem .

Pros: It works well, well made. Wire attachments on the back are well made and secure. Has screws instead of pigtails.Cons: It does not include a Decora wall plate, like some others do. It is too big for all but deep boxes and mechanically interferes at the top and bottom of the box. Wires and connections MUST be made behind the receptacle. If the box is not deep or double wide you won't get it in. There is no in-use indicator light, as there are on other brands. Although it advertises a high output current, my cell phone with type C USB port will not charge rapidly from the outlet, even thought using a wall adapter with the same output will.

Best USB receptacle bang-for-the-buck!! I replaced a standard receptacle in the kitchen with this one while doing a kitchen remodel. I read all the reviews, saw the charging rates, knew the size was a little larger than the "top rated" ones so I cut the wire back an extra 2 inches to accommodate the added size. It install with ZERO issues/problems! It does not hum or make any noises what so ever. I plugged in my iPhone 6 with only 4% battery (while still playing Pandora and having 12 other apps including a radar app in the background running) and it went from 4% to 48% in about 13-15 minutes. My experience has been EXTREMELY FAST CHARGING! I will definitely be buying more for the bedrooms and living room once the kitchen remodel is completed.

The plug works great. Having USB connections is super convenient. I wouldn't install these everywhere, but common places we charge phones (kitchen counter, book case in the family room, etc.) are a definate upgrade.The added size to the outlet due to the USB ports can cause issues during install, however, though I imagine this is true of all USB outlet replacements. In our install, we had two older style electrical lines (one with power coming in and one taking power to the next outlet) in a new, 1 gang wall box and had a difficult time getting everything to fit and it still doesn't quite fit flush. It might work better if you have newer (less bulky) wiring, a single line coming in or a larger gang box.

The reason I am not rating this wall outlet with one star is the overall design, functionality and looks of the product, which is good.The job of replacing one standard outlet to this multifunctional outlet was to last no more than 10 minutes. Instead, I spent about 45 minutes because of difficulties connecting the wires. Our house is wired with standard 14 gage solid copper wires, which were too thick for the terminal screws. There simply wasn't aqequate space for installing the wires. It seems the terminals were designed to accommodate stranded wires only. As the terminal screws are designed to be not removable, I couldn't unscrew them for looping the wires around and then reattaching. For a better understanding I have attached a couple of photos.

I just installed this outlet a few minutes ago so I can't say whether it's fast or that it's worked for a long period of time. But What I can attest to is the ease of installation and more importantly, I don't hear any humming coming from the unit. That was one of my biggest concerns given that I installed this near our kitchen table and that kind of stuff usually really bothers me. We'll give this some time to see if everything goes well but I can see purchasing more of these for other rooms around the house.

2 years ago I bought 2 0f these and gave this device 5 stars Nice! I used it on our kitchen island. Now I always know where I can charge my devices!I must update it now to 1 star as in just 2 years one has an outlet that can't be used and the usb outlets failed on the other!
