Good service, good briquettes, good price!
Bought these briquettes in case I ran out of logs while waiting for my next delivery. They arrived 2 days early- a good service! They are also the least expensive briquettes you can buy on Amazon (though I paid £16.99 and they are now £17.99)- still they are the least expensive. You get 3 packs of 10 briquettes, weighing around 28kg.They are quite firm- not crumbly & messy. I put 2 in the stove with a firelighter and they 'take' easily, burning first with flames then glowing with heat for up to an hour and a half. These are good briquettes- I would say, buy with confidence! I will be buying more to use with my logs.

Excellent product and good communication.
The product is far superior to others that I have tried. Burns well and gives off good heat in my log burner.Unfortunately there was a wrong item with one of my recent deliveries but I am pleased to say that this was put right within 24 hours. You can order with confidence knowing that should there be any issues then they are quickly and professionally resolved.Highly recommended!

Buy the regular ones that are £4/5 instead
We regularly buy the £4/5 ones in supermarkets or hardware shops which are identical except usually a lighter shade (not that it makes any difference what colour) and they usually do the job for around a hour or soWe tried these for around £28 and they do the exact same job no discernible different in any facet. Save your self a load of money and buy the usual ones instead

Worth it
Long lasting and don’t spark and light easily.

Disappointing
Disappointing. I have just tried the first briquette in an open fireplace which always burns nicely. The briquette just lies there smouldering, quite a bit of smoke, no appreciable heat. In the end I have tried to burn it away by use of 4 firelighters, serially, then added dry lighting wood and some coal on top of it in an effort to just get it burnt away. I wish I had not bought two large packs of these. Update, I did find online a YouTube film showing how to light them, basically stand two on end forming an A shape, this did help. I still found heat output to be low.

Good burning fuel
Very good burners. However the packets are heavy, so make sure you don't have to move them around very much.
