Way too firm/hard. Basically, these are green LaCross balls. Nothing special. No bag to connect them either to use as a pair.

Let me start off with this preface: I have chronic ligament issues that cause my muscles to stiffen up all the time, so I use these types of balls to release shoulder tension. I am comparing these to the most recent purchase of Trevida myofascial release balls.Pros:- These things really get all the knots out! They dig right in and hurt so good. You are your own massage therapist when you use these. These types of balls have replaced my chiropractor for my neck and shoulder issues.- Portable, and easy to use. Can be taken all over the place.Cons- These things stink to high hell like toxic chemicals. The other pair of balls I have aren't made of the same rubber and are much more tolerable of their smell. Slightly softer than my other balls as well.- These don't come in a carrying bag. Carrying balls around is much, MUCH easier with a mesh bag. My other balls came with a mesh bag.Verdict:If you have knots in your neck or migraines from shoulder issues, any pair of balls like this is a must. However, I wouldn't recommend this particular brand over Trevida.
