The Best Friend Bargain (Inked Love Book 1)

Bit disappointed reading this book, I actually started with book 4 randomly on the Kindle and didn’t realise it was the 4th one so I bought the paperback copy of the 1st and 2nd book. However there are soooo many typos in this book! I compared it to the kindle version where the typos are fixed? For £14+ I’d expect no typos at least.This is just one example in the pic I’ve come across loads through the book though, chapters without the name of who it is at the top too which is very confusing.My advice is get it on kindle instead of paperback if you want to read it. The story is good and I loved book 4 which is why I bought another two books and I prefer paperback books especially since I was going on holiday but I’d prefer for them not to have typos or errors that’s all..

I liked this book didn’t love it don’t get me wrong it was all there with the spice too I just couldn’t connect with the book

Forest and Skye have been best friends for a long time and both of them have a crush on the other person, but neither of them know.It isn't until Forest's ex (and Skye's cousin) calls to say she's getting married and wants to know if they'll come that Forest panics and tells his ex that him and Skye are now dating.Fake relationship trope is one of my favourites and this one was done really well. Everyone else could see how much they really liked each other and that both were living in denial.Skye is a curvy girl who is always comparing herself to the long line of skinny tall girls that Forest is either dating or screwing, so she isn't sure he'll ever like her enough because of her size.This was a really great book and promoted body confidence, dealt with heartbreak, meddlesome ex's and friendship.

I enjoyed the plot, the characters but it would have been better if the lead female character Skye, could finish a sentence. It was a frustrating read which is why I've given it a 3 star review. If this is the author's style of writing, I'm not sure I'll move on to her other books. For anyone reading this review, read it and make up your own mind as it might just be me.

Very difficult to picture the scene in certain areas or even distinguish WHO is actually talking. Pity as the banter and characters are good and the plot, although stereotypical, was executed well. It just needed more background description/context for me. Also, hetero relationship for anyone wondering ✌️

Another good book in the Inked universe. I was excited to see the story between Forrest and Skye since The Baby Bargain. It was everything you'd want in a friends to Lovers book and a fake relationship book (which is one of my fav plotlines). Forrest was moody and caring, while Skye was sassy but insecure, they had a fun relationship and great chemistry. Really enjoyed this.

This book was perfect! It had a serious side to the story, with Love, and heartbreak, but also plenty of chemistry, and humour (Thank you Holden 😉)Skye is a confidant bubbly woman, with her curvy figure and bold clothes & makeup, yet she also has a vulnerable side that she tries to keep hidden. While Forest is a man who has been hurting, trying to learn to trust again, while always being there for his best friend. Their feelings were undeniable, even if they could not admit it to anyone other than themselves. I adore Skye & Forest. I couldn’t put this book down. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.

Crystal Kaswell wrote a sexy and fun story with “The Best Friend Bargain” and I couldn't put it down.
