Stop looking and buy this rack.
I really like this rack, although I'm not a huge fan of the hardware they sent with it. They send small drywall anchors, but strongly suggest that you mount directly to studs. I bought longer screws for this purpose since the ones it came with aren't super long and seem like they are supposed to be used with the anchors. This is the best rack on Amazon; I searched for a while and I'm glad I found it. The wood ones are pricier, don't really look that great, and mounting them is more difficult. There's another similar simple metal rack out there but it has a 90 degree angle with small pad that I wouldn't really want my board resting against all the time. This one has a curve that allows it to match the contour of the board and utilize the pad effectively.Pro Tips: I have a 6'8" board, and I put about 3 feet between the mounts. I tried 4 ft and it seemed too far apart based on where the board was being held relative to the curve of the board. Also, I recommend screwing in the top screws first and then putting your board on the rack. Rotate the mounts slightly to perfectly match the curve of the board, and then take your board off to screw the second screws in.

Longboard racks look great!
I think these racks look clean but the grip/cushion isn't enough for a heavier longboard. It risks making a ding/scratch. Also, the screws it came with (ordered large racks) aren't long or strong enough for a heavy longboard.Otherwise, I am happy with them and I think they look great.Thank you!

Sleek: longboard as art
Thanks Coastal Provision for this sleek rack. I appreciated all your prompt communication; there was an unexplained delay in our processing, which was on Amazon's end and Coastal Provision were good enough to follow up and reassure us.The rack itself feels very sturdy and the curve with the dampening pads seem well thought out. They are so simple, we weren't sure it could hold the 9ft6 board. We're giving 4 stars, as it would be nice to have more instructions come with the racks. We're not particularly handy and we would have appreciated guidelines as to how far apart the racks should be placed for even weight distribution. However, the board is safely out the way and we can enjoy looking at it while we can't get to the beach.

Low Profile, quality board holders.
I bought a couple of sets of these for the house in Costa Rica and will probably get a few more to mount the whole quiver. It has nice padding, is sturdy and won't rot or rust in the humid jungle. Very happy with my purchase!

Sturdy and easy-to-install
These board wall mounts are super sturdy, easy to install, and practically disappear when the board is sitting on them. I determined the center of where I'd like to hang my board, measured where I'd need the mounts, and drilled a couple starter holes into my studs, and the mounts went on very easy. They hold strong with the two screws as long as you put them in studs and look great holding my board.

Nice lightweight aluminum with soft foam covered ends to keep ...
Does exactly what it says it does. Nice lightweight aluminum with soft foam covered ends to keep the board mark-free. I am using it to hold/display a 10'6" hard-top long board, and it does so with no problem. I screwed mine into wall-studs and would be very hesitant to hold such a long/heavy board using the supplied dry-wall anchors, but that would be true of ANY similar product without buying much better anchors.

The board rests a little further than I'd like in terms of distance to the wall
I bought this to hang an old long board in my kids room, so I wanted low lines. This rack did exactly that. I did not expect it to be able to lay the board on and off with such ease. The board rests a little further than I'd like in terms of distance to the wall, but this was not meant to be a true museum style display so it works very well. I'm a fan. simple. well built. good lines.

The job was easy and the Coastal Provision racks are rock solid
I researched board mounting options and decided on these. Four pair arrived last week, and I mounted them on my concrete walls using the Tapper concrete anchors system. I used the 3/16" x 1-1/4" Tapper screws and their 5/32" bit. I also drilled the Coastal Provision rack mounting holes to 1/4" so the Tapper screws fit through without difficulty. The job was easy and the Coastal Provision racks are rock solid. I really like the fact that the racks are unobtrusive and allow my 9' 4" Ernie Tanaka Pro to take center stage!
