It's a genuine true pure asafoetida, this is the real thing and so little is needed in cooking Aroma of this product is very strong and only minute qty is required for any dish. As far as I have used asafoetida, it's the best. It tastes amazing in sambars and masala powders. Loved this product. The Aroma is quite strong. I mix a very small piece with about 4-5 tbsp of water and use 1-2 drops for cooking. Even though the jar is small, I expect it will easily last for several months. A reviewer has asked why it tastes spicy. It's extremely strong and concentrated that is why if you use it directly in cooking it might be too strong and taste spicy. I would recommend diluting it a very small piece in some water and using a few drops of that.

This is the purest form of asafetida, we tested you can see it gets soluble in water and turns milky white water. Extreme strong use little. Last time we purchased from other brand quality was same but had too much stone and wood particles. This is clean also with no impurities. Best thank you Jain mam.
