OK but the color rendering doesn't look any good.
The best thing about this bulb is that it is instant on...unlike many LED's. You'll have to determine if you like the color. It looks bright white compared to 2700K lights but the color rendering looks bad, in my opinion. I put it in a number of applications and one particular application it made my light cream colored walls look greenish.Watch for enclosed fixtures, as this bulb gets HOT after a few minutes. While the light itself, the top of it, stays cool, the rest heats up quite hot. If you put this light in a table lamp, most of the light shines up. Walmart brand LED bulbs are pretty good in this regard. They shine light on a table and up.

First Impression
I have a kitchen track light with six 50 watt Par 20 halogen lights. Like the idea of reducing the power consumption from 300 watts to 60. Due to the cost decided to try just one. Installed the light without telling my wife or son, after two days neither noticed the change. After pointing it out to them, their opinion was similar to mine, it is the same color as the halogens and maybe just a tad brighter. Not sure if this is important to anyone but I did notice that shadows are slightly sharper under the led bulb.Pros: 10 watts vs 50 watts. On the package advertised life 25,000 hrs. So far seems a good replacement for the 50 watt halogen Par 20.Cons: High Initial cost, I've read numerous complaints about other led lights burning out quickly or flickering, but does not necessarily mean this bulb will have the same problem. Conclusion: I consider these type bulbs in the consumer test phase. I plan on purchasing just one per month and keeping the receipt and package until they prove themselves.****Update*** It has been almost a year. I replaced the other halogens and so far none have dimmed or gone dead. Besides initial high cost I am very pleased with this product.****Second Update**** Now almost three years and not one has gone out, very pleased***** Last update ***** Almost 7 years and not one has burnt out. I'm impressed, too bad they are no longer available
