At Home with Magnolia: Classic American Recipes from the Owner of Magnolia Bakery

Love this book. The recipes are doable for a normal person who has a basic well stocked kitchen. The photos are fun and inspiring. I get tired of reading recipes from the internet, and this book makes it way more fun to bake. Would make a fun bridal shower gift. I love mine.

If you're looking for a cookbook with recipes from Magnolia Bakery, this is not it. There are some cake and dessert recipes, but this book has so much more - salads, soups, lunches, dinners, vegetables and sides - it's very well rounded. Nothing too complicated or fancy, just good home cooking heavy on the vegetables and herbs... Not too heavy or too light and there are recipes to suit a variety of occasions. I wouldn't say this cookbook is a must have, but it is pretty and it has seen some use around our house. If you can find it cheap, it's worth adding to your collection!

What a pleasure to read and see. This cook book has simple, fresh ideas for casual lunches or get togethers and the photos evoke a easy summer day.I have alot of cookbooks and this is on the top of my favorites list.

This is a good book, and I am a reader of cookbooks, marking some pages to try recipes at a later date. A great way to relax after a super fast paced day at the office. But this is a good book, not as many good recipes as the first one, but a good book.

This lovely recipe book delivers on many levels,from delicious recipes to beautiful illustrated pictures that compliment the book so well.

Nachdem ihre Backbücher so ein großer Erfolg waren, hatte sich Allysa Torey dazu entschlossen, auch ein Kochbuch (mit einigen Backrezepten)zu veröffentlichen. Zum Glück! Das Buch ist so liebevoll gestaltet, dass es große Freude macht, es durchzublättern. Die Gerichte sind zum größten Teil italienisch angehaucht, wahrscheinlich deshalb, weil Allysas Vorfahren aus Italien stammen. Natürlich sind auch typisch amerikanische Rezepte dabei, zum Beispiel "Maccaroni and Cheese" und "Corn fritters" (lecker!!!). Alle Gerichte, die ich bisher gekocht habe, schmecken sehr gut. Aber allein ihre "Orange-Vanilla-Cupcakes" sind es wert, dieses Buch zu kaufen. Die allerbesten Cupcakes, die ich je gegessen habe!Ich kann allen, die die amerikanische Küche lieben, dieses Buch nur weiterempfehlen.
