Your drill should have a second handle for the left hand in order for better control. Otherwise
Go slowly with this until you get a feel for it. Too fast to begin with is too strong and will twist your hands. Your drill should have a second handle for the left hand in order for better control. Otherwise, this is a great tool. Made 200 holes for blueberry plants that otherwise would have taken forever and broken a back. It was a real hit for neighbors to see as well.

Works well
Worked well to plant 20 shrubs. The soil had fair amount of stones, so it does jerk, but to be expected.

It will not go into the dirt. I had an electric drill attached to it and it still would not go more than a couple of inches. I had hoped it would help with some holes I wanted for posts I was digging. That is why me husband bought it for me as a gift. If possible I would return it.

I used this in a addition to a mortar mixing 1/2" drill rental to drill 66 holes for a fence line full of canna lily bulbs in about 1 hour in north texas clay soil. Incredible. Well worth the price.
