This is a remarkable product for "burning throats." I've seen three physicians, and all they have to offer is to buy a new bed, sleep on a stack of pillows, or stop eating after noon. These supplements and lozenges are exactly what I needed—I am still surprised that it is such an amazing and affordable product!

I loved the Thayers slippery elm lozenges and just finished my last pack. When I went to order, realized they were discontinued. Saw mixed reviews here but thought I'd give the Original flavor a try. Thayers had a mild maple sweetness. And loved the way it slowly dissolved and coated my throat. Well, I am here to report this one does it very well, indeed. It dissolved nicely and has a slighly sweet taste. Not maybe maple, but it will do. And actually, much less money for the bottle. Really am happy to have found this.

Wasted my money. I was raised on Thayers slipper Elm Lozenges, and since they are no longer made, I tried these.The are super sweet, with no taste of slippery elm, and they are hard, they do not dissolve on your tongue, and coat your throat, you have to crunch them.They had no benefits of slippery elm. We use it for both humans, and pets, to coat and sooth from mouth, through GI tract.Do not waste your money, buy the organic powder now, or capsules you can open, that are not full of fructose and stevia, and other gunk.

For whatever reason my Mom lost her voice after church a few weeks back. She is a soprano and used to sing in the choir, but she has never lost her voice before. So I got her these after reading that opera singers routinely use slippery elm lozenges for their voices.I thought these would be like the Sunday candy an elder would hand you when you had a cough in church. These were like Smarties candies. Chalky pills. She sucked on them. She didn't like the taste, but she wanted to get her voice back. She went though 1/4 of the bottle and just stopped. It wasn't working and it wasn't worth the effort of that chalky taste she said. 3 days later her voice came back on its own.

These really help for those times when you wake up in the middle of the night absolutely parched coughing from dryness. They are great to have any time you might need some lubrication in your mouth or throat.
