I love this saw. It is my first chain saw and I am in my 50's. It was easy to learn on and easy to handle. My husband thought I was crazy for buying it. But was impressed with it. The battery and with the way it handled. It is my saw but he uses all the tme.

Bottom line: great value
Bottom line: It's a great value. Has It's limitations but is a great buy if your requirements are similar to mine. I scour the internet for deals and took a chance with this off brand tool. I felt the prices of brand names were too inflated. I ordered the string trimmer from ecopro as well which hasn't come yet.I am not an arborist, just a residential user. I own a poulan 16" gas chainsaw. I wanted a battery powered chainsaw as I'd like to do my own arboring on my property as I have 7 trees on my corner lot. I was not confident I could start the gas chainsaw safely up in a tree.The build quality surprised me. It is plastic suitable for light-medium outdoor use. Honestly, because of the price I was expecting a cheap plastic.I did put the chain on backwards. However having the experience of the poulan I knew something was wrong. There is a picture on the guide bar that isn't in the directions showing you the proper direction. Overall the directions were adequate besides this hiccup.The pole is of similar quality to the tool. I have used it. It's versatile angles and ability to rotate absolutely increases its usefulness.The battery has a button to indicate charge. I didn't charge the battery fully before testing. Out of the box the battery showed 2 of 3 bars. I was able to get roughly 20 - 30 minutes of constant use out of it.

Battery lasted 3 months product useless without battery
Purchased for fall brush clearing project. I also purchased the hedge trimmer and weed whacker attachments. Fall arrived and Battery charger fails to charge the battery. Without battery product is useless. Battery failed before we could use or return hedge trimmer. Wasted investment. Contacted EcoPro because it should be covered under warranty and received no response. Needless to say, we are very angry over this purchase.

Used it maybe a dozen times. Now it doesn't work and now I'm out of luck. Don't bother.
