Great Curl Bar!
This is a great bar. I looked for a week before I decided. I wanted good angles, good knurl, black bar, thicker bar and bushings. I took a risk since this was new and had no reviews. This bar meets all my needs perfectly. I was going to get one of the $100+ bars, but couldn't justify it and the cheaper ones had almost no angle and we're just poor quality. One complaint I read a lot about with other bars was poor packing and greasy bars that had to be cleaned for an hour before use. This bar was packed better than many items I have received from Amazon. It drop shipped from the manufacturer and they did a great job. Wrapped in plastic , then placed in a thick tube with plastic ends and then put in a thick box. There is no problem with the black finish coming off. The bushings work perfectly. The weight of the bar is 22lbs. I like that the ends are chrome rather than black...won't show scratches from plates that are inevitable.See my pictures below. I tried to get a good shot of the angle. I highly recommend this bar! No reason to spend more money.

Great Bar... aggressive knurling. EZ 5/5!
This is a very quality bar at this price point. I like the angles in the bar and feel comfortable on my wrists during skull crushers and curls. The knurling is very sharp which is fine for me as I where gloves but be warned if you are planning on using bare hands. The bearings are very good and rotate nicely. Overall I am very pleased with this bar and the quality is better than I expected. Exactly what I was looking for. Also I'd like to commend XMark as a company for NOT price gouging during the Covid equipment shortage. I will likely buy from them again very soon as they get more inventory. A+ 5/5

Great bar
I’ve had this bar for a while now and it works great. I was a little nervous from the bad reviews I read but had actually received an email from the manufacture prior to them sending it out letting me know that they had a batch of bars come in that had some minor paint scratches on them and added me if I would be fine with the bar at a discounted price and sent me pictures of the bar they intend to send me and it’s imperfections. The things that were wrong were purely cosmetic and the actual bar works exactly like it’s supposed to. I use it out in my garage and it hasn’t started to show any signs of rust like summer people complain about and is holding up well. I feel like this is a bar that’s going to last for a long time

Looking for a commercial curl bar under 75 bucks...
For the price you can't beat it. The knerling is awesome it's not too harsh reminds me of new g-10/skateboard grip, I'm sure once I use it over the next year the it will become a little less harsh. The weight is great, I'd rather have it heavier than a standard curl bar. The angles are perfect for myself but all angles aren't created equal, everyone's different... for me it's a great at home gym bar that rivals commercial gyms. At the global gym Ivanko, at home DSG curl bar, this is the perfect balance between the 2 but this bar leans more toward the Ivanko bar in terms of quality and knerling. At 69 bucks if you have a home gym get it, you won't be disappointed.Edit: You need to keep this maintained or it will rust, it's been a year since I've owned this and the knerling is rusting and part of the bar but I'm pretty rough on it and don't really maintain it, but I do live in a super dry climate so I'm mixed on it. I use it 4 times a week except leg days and I sweat more than most.

XMark Olympic EZ Curl Bar
Excellent Quality, coating on bar is nice as well, the bar is a larger diameter than others I have used which is very nice, along with the deeper cross hatching on bar this makes it very comfortable to grip and easy to hold while exercising. The bushings are very smooth and quiet during use, they pivot easily without any noise as it should be.Bends in bar are excellent !, easy to grip and hold comfortably in more than several different exercises I use this bar for.Just a excellent quality bar, was a bit more expensive than some but I see why, the larger diameter bar, deep cross hatch, quiet and smooth end bushings and manganese phosphate coating are all very high quality, very impressed, was totally worth the slightly higher price, you get what you pay for :)It was shipped well, in a thick tube and then inside a heavy long box, received in perfect condition.Very happy with the Xmark bar, will be sure to check their other products out if I do any more shopping.

Good, but now my floor sparkles
Very nice bar, except for one issue: the plating on the sleeves is flaking like crazy. I've owned this for a little over a month, and everytime I pick it up, more of the chrome plate flakes off the sleeves. Is that enough to make me NOT recommend this bar to people? No, but it something that the manufacturer should be away of. Why bother chrome plating it at all? Just ship it with bare steel sleeves. It'll save them money, and the only thing I could complain about wouldn't be an issue. It's not like the chrome (nickel?) makes the sleeves any tougher, it's purely cosmetic. Unfortunately, that cosmetic is leaving sparkles all over my gym area.If you're choosing between this bar, and a more expensive name brand (aka R*gue) bar, get this one. Flaking aside, it's an excellent curl bar.

Excellent Packaging
The product itself is high quality but, what is commendable is that the packaging was super deluxe. The bar was enclosed in plastic and placed in a rugged cardboard tube. The tube had plastic caps secured with a screw on each end to secure the bar in the tube. The tube was placed in a strong box with a cover. Then poly strapping (6) was used to secure the box. Maybe sounds silly to mention but, I've seen some pretty shabby packaging before. This packaging in this case brought pure customer delight.

Five years in with no issues.
I've had the XMark EZ Curl bar for about 5 years now. It works well and I've had no problems. I use it 1-2x per week.
