Great upgrade Vs. standard metal lids
Needed a good replacement as started pickling foods a couple of years ago, was using proper mason jars but was always finding the original metal lids didn't last long, with rust being the main culprit.These Tough Tops lids are really strong, fit well, clean easily in the dishwasher and having bought these a couple of times to replace all my metal lids, I'm finding that the extra price to pay for long lasting lids is really worth it - would recommend to anyone who regularly uses mason jars for preservation purposes.

Worth the money
Good quality, come in a variety of colours and sizes. I'm on my fourth purchase. Highly durable and airtight. Don't waste your money on cheaper alternatives. Pay cheap, pay twice. I only wish they made them for 4oz 47mm lids. Also good if you want to avoid contact with metal lids which are highly poisonous to the body. Good quality BPA plastic is much easier to detox from the body than heavy metals such as aluminium.

Exactly what ibwas looking for
These are perfect for mason jars wide mouth. My original ones had gone rusty,and I just didnt like putting my food in them. So these are perfect, and pretty colours

Perfect!
Not cheap but they fit regular mouth Kilner jars perfectly and feel very sturdy and well made. I can imagine these lasting for years.

Sturdy lids with good seal
Although a little more expensive than alternatives these seem far better quality than lids that I already had

Really durable and perfect for Mason/Kilner jars. the metal ones always rust and these don't!
Great lids which are perfect for mason jars. Much better than the metal 2 part ones as these don't rust and really seal the jars shut!

Ugly coloured cheap plastic lids made in China
Masontops prides themselves as a Canadian company but all their products are made in China. I don't personally have a problem with that as long as there is some quality to the product. I can probably get better plastic lids in my local pound shops for half the price. By the way, I got these for my wide mouth ball mason jars. Too expensive for what it is. It is unbelievable that in 21st century basic decent quality plastic lids have to be a specialised product. Too many cheats out there!
