These magnets are awesome! They serve their purpose
These magnets are awesome! They serve their purpose. I needed magnets that would hold my firearm and magazine in a pistol safe that is wall mounted. It is nice that they are round with the whole in the middle for mounting screws. They fit right under the foam in the safe and were easy to mount. Would definitely purchase again for another wall mounted gun safe. I was impresses with how strong these magnets are.

Lots of Pull
Great magnets. Very strong. I bought them to glue on base of a goose neck lamp I bought to put on my band saw. The magnets on the new light were too weak to hold the light. I glued one of these magnets on the base and now I have to use a screwdriver to remove the light. Very happy with the results.

I am attaching these to a snap on LEDwork light to support it under a car. So, when I received these I attached them to the fridge and pulling it off had to slide it to a corner and get it off that way..Then without think, holding them loosely in my hands they snapped together like a mouse trap and ripped a hole in my thumb 1cm hole in a fraction of a second, looked down at the magnets together and there they were, holding the chunk of skin that was just removed..I know, I know you're not stupid until you show it. :)Oh yea, these are some strong magnets be careful how you use them.

Take care when opening - But a good product
Good product. Extremely strong. Even though it had warnings on it, I did not perceive how strong they were. Trying to pull them apart with my fingers and ended up with a large blood blister. My bad, not the sellers,, they had the warnings. Slide them apart, and if you have gloves, even better.

Seriously Strong Magnets - Good for DIY Projects
These magnets are seriously strong! I used them without the screws for a DIY home organization project. I glued two to a desk organizer with E600 glue, which i then put on the side of of a metal filing cabinet. I'm also using four to hold up a re-purposed mailbox to the same cabinet, which is holding several file folders and notebooks. Pretty awesome! These are so strong I made extra precautions to keep them away from electronics - just in case!

Excellent Magnet to Temporarily De-activate my Defibrillator
Last week I had a series of inappropriate shocks from my implanted defibrillator (ICD). These are not pleasant. Imagine experiencing something that's a cross between being kicked in the chest by a horse and being struck by lightning eight times in ten minutes. It is possible to temporarily deactivate an ICD by applying an appropriate magnet.* I looked around for an appropriate magnet with a combination of high field and compact size. These magnets are perfect. I carry one round in my back pocket all the time.* Please consult a medical professional before use. Incorrect application of this magnet could result in death.

So far, so good. I'm very happy with them
They are as strong as they say they are, I am using two to hold up two storage racks on the side of our refrigerator. The rack is designed to hang over a door (see link below) or screw into a wall but since I couldn't do either with the fridge, I decided to try this:We screwed together a 2x2 and a 1x2 piece of wood (2x3 is what I'd recommend but we tried the 2x2 first and it wasn't quite enough) and then screwed these powerful magnets to the wood, which we then set on top of the fridge at the very edge. The wood serves as a "door" for the rack to hang over. So far it's holding up nicely, two magnets hold 176 pounds. If all of our cans crash to the floor, we'll know it didn't work out. :-)note of caution: if you slide the magnets, they will scratch the paint off of your refrigerator. If you do decide to try my idea, place the magnets carefully. They are very strong. We ended up with a tiny scrape but it's on top of the fridge and under the wood so we can't even see it anyway. Here is the rack we use:https://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-1231-Adjustable-8-Tier-12-Inch/dp/B00CC2JPXW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476392113&sr=8-1&keywords=closetmaid+1231+adjustable+8-tier+wall+and+door+rack+12-inch+wide

The real deal on these
Maybe worth four stars because they're cool, but knocking down score for 3 reasons: 1) They work, and are very powerful. Very nice for handheld shop tools. But 88 lb. rating probably refers to some ideal condition that you'll never have like a point-mass or something. Use your judgment but I'm guessing a 25 pound weight from the gym would sit securely, maybe a 35, probably not a 45. 2) They screw into a wall stud with a nice countersunk design, but be careful I used an impact driver to screw in because I was lazy and put hairline fractures into two of them, but they still work. 3) Price point is just OK. I got 6 I might get more. I assumed 88 pounds was bogus when I ordered so I wasn't so disappointed.
