The Pasler stick eraser does a good job, Mr Pen stick eraser does a much better job erasing with a light touch since it is softer. The harder Pasler, Faber Castell or Staedtler stick eraser can do a better job where a harder eraser is needed. I find it best to have both a hard one and the softer stick eraser. Pasler's brush on the end of the pencil eraser is too stiff for cleaning up as it can smear your work. It is good for slightly distorting what is suppose to be the background or a distant portion of your drawing to help make it appear to be distant on your drawing. The same applies to the Faber Castell or Staedtler brush on their stick erasers. Since the Mr Pen stick eraser is softer it does a better job for most erasing of color and graphite pencils when hard pressure is not needed to accomplish the task. So at the same time the Mr Pen softer eraser is much easier on the tooth of the paper your are erasing from. The Pasler, Staedtler or Faber Castell stick erasers are a good combination to have with the Mr Pen eraser since they work better on those very difficult to erase areas. The Mr Pen also has a softer brush on the end of it for clean up. With colored pencils, the Pasler, Staedtler or Faber Castell will not erase well for me at all. The Mr Pen will do a much better job on colored pencil for me. Of Course this can depend on the type of colored pencils you use and the paper you are using them on. This is referring to erasing those small areas and drawing with and eraser. The traditional gum, vinyl and kneaded erasers should still be in your set. Most vinyl erasers are hard. A soft block vinyl such as Mr Pen or Mono should be in your set. The SumoGrip foam block erasers also do an excellent job.

These would probably get a 3 star from me as far as the eraser part because I do not think they work the greatest, you really have to rub hard, smear and they weren’t too sharp when I got them. The reason I gave it a 4 star review instead of 3 is I do like the little brush at the end. It gives the paper a good sweep off of the eraser pieces and does so in a clean way, unlike if you used your hand or finger and they have skin oils on them that transfer onto the paper. These are easy to use, are durable, I feel they are sturdy and won’t break easily. I also feel the money spent on them and for how they work is comparable. I most likely wouldn’t purchase again due to the eraser part, but find a better eraser with the little brush a the end.

Good quality erasers, perfect size that can be shattered with a fine point to erase tight spaces in your drawing or creating nice highlights. Easy to use and functions well. Good price point

I wanted to get the eraser pencil style of eraser, and so I tried these. They work really well, and you can get up very close to the lines and erase mistakes easily. I use the brush end for blending, and it's soft enough yet stiff enough to blend pencil drawings very well. I've found that the eraser end sharpens easily with the plastic sharpener that's included in the set. I would not recommend sharpening with an automatic electric sharpener, since you would lose too much of the eraser. I recommend this set of pencil erasers and I bought another set for my husband to use.

Item arrived on time however it was obvious that the package had already been opened when it was shipped out. It arrived with opened packaging, the eraser pencils were rattling around in the shipping envelope and the sharpener was not packed with the other items. I am fortunate that I own my own large sharpener that would fit it. The eraser is working fairly well for sketching and drawing in pencil. It does not erase Prismacolor pencils.

These are a wonderful aid for artists. I particularly like them when working on pencil portraits. I can get fine details (such as eye highlights and strands of light in hair. Wouldn't be without them. Thank you.

I use these for fine negative charcoal drawing work. Brilliant! Simple to adjust erasing profile by adjusting tip shape during sharpening. Sharpen with 'sandpaper'.
