My son, who is learning to cook, asked for a rasp for grating hard cheese and zesting citrus. I looked at a few and chose this one and I'm glad I did. It's very sharp and makes light use of hard cheeses, like parmesan, and zesting lemons, limes and oranges is simple. It's easy to clean with the included brush and has a plastic cover for safe storage.

Perfect weight and length. I’ve never zested before but I have watched chefs on tv do it for everything. I tried it with fish and salad. It really does add a lot of flavor and brightness. You only realize how bad your grater/zester is, when you buy a new one. This is a fantastic tool. It fits easily over a bowl or plate, and makes the job so easy. Great price.
