this went alot smoother than i expected in my 2k grand marquis ls with a 8.8 diff. i wish they would label the bearings on the cards just to make it easier when you go to get them so you dont have to triple check yourself to be sure you have the right set. of course that could just be me, i just triple check it so i know i dont have to pull it apart again.... the shim kit was plenty for me, and i dont know if it was dumb luck or excellent oem fitment but i was able to reuse my old shims and my pattern came out perfect first go, i do wish they would offer this kit with the axle bearings and seals along with it so you can just do it all at once with one kit. but this went so much smoother than i expected, i had a bad axle bearing that ate into my axle, that caused a bad carried bearing so i just redid it all in my driveway, car rides smooth again, no noise at all. even after 16 heart attacks i was able to do this slowly and it only took me about 5 hours with hand tools thats even pressing them on with a old bearing and a small sledge.

I rebuilt my F350 rear diff and ordered all the parts to arrive on the same day. This one showed the correct arrival date, but had not even shipped by the time it was supposed to have arrived. I ended up ordering it a second time and that one DID come immediately. Amazon was the shipper for both, but clearly whichever warehouse sourced the original order just lost it and never shipped it out when it was supposed to. The original order did finally arrive, but after the job was all done. Lost a couple of days due to this mixup.Product kit worked as expected, but came with a TON of shims. I guess that's a good thing, but I really can't see why anyone would need that much shimming.

I only needed the two pinion bearings but it was worth the price for the whole kit. Everyrhing lined up and fit correctly. I would recommend this kit.

The kit has no instructions!There are 2 sized Pinion shaft nuts and pinion seals.., I used the wrong one and dumped fluid all over the rear of our TACOMA...Pulled it apart and I should have noticed the larger seal didnt seal against the pinion shaft! I installed th eother and it was tight,This kit must also be for a Tundra cause the dual parts also had a larger diameter Tail nut for the pinion and crush sleave for preload.

It was the right kit for my rear end.

The noise level is not bad at all it’s quiet

Everything fit great in my 1999 ram 1500 axle.

This kit does not fit my application need to fix the product fitment guide as it said this fit my diff. Now I can’t return it as the ring and pinion I ordered was lost and didn’t show up until after my return deadline for this install kit. Not good feel ripped off.

Yukon Gear YK GM8.25IFS-B Master Overhaul Kit, 2005 sierra 1500 GU6 WH2 front diff. The kit was great had everything including all 3 axle bearings and seals.

Amazon needs to be sure which Nissan differential this will fit, Frontier has 2 different kits, this kit is for the Dana44 vehicles.
