I've had this light for almost a month and absolutely love it. The light is bright and easily adjustable so I can direct it to where I need it. I bought this so I could work on my needlework while I was spending a week at a cabin. I figured lighting might not be the best in the cabin and I was correct, but this light was a lifesaver. I was able to clip it on my frame for my project and have the light directly on top of my project. I used it in battery mode while at the cabin and after 4 nights of stitching about 2-3 hours a night, the light was still as bright as day one. I have plugged it into my USB port and the light works well there too. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy again if I am ever in need for another light. However, with as strong as this is I may not have to replace it for awhile. I dropped the light onto a tile floor and it survived. One of the lights suffered no damage and the only damage to other one is the button to turn the light on and off is a bit touchy. It still works mind you, just a little tricky to turn it on and off now. However, it still WORKS. The bulb did not break and it still works! I was sure I had broken it when it fell, but it is sturdier than it looks. If you need a little extra light and want something that is durable, this is a great product.

UPDATE, Oct 2018: As stated in original review (2 yrs ago), I liked this light so well that I did buy another when the price dropped again, and am lowering my rating TWO stars, from 5 to 3, for this reason. Of the 2 lights I bought (only a short time apart), identical in every way, one got so dim shortly after I got them, that it became totally useless. The other is fine, just as bright as the day I got it. Both were always plugged in, only used on battery power to test, no difference in how or how much they were used until after the one went bad. Since then, I've had the good one clipped to one of my aquariums for several months, now, and use it as a low-level-light pretty much every evening for several hours. It's still as bright as ever. Why one is still good after pretty heavy use and the other went bad so quickly, I have no idea. Maybe the bad one was fluke, maybe not, but the current price is over three times what I paid so wanted to let perspective buyers know about the 50% failure rate I experienced. I never like losing money on any purchase, but wasting $8 wasn't SO terrible, losing $30 would be far more annoying!ORIGINAL REVIEW, Aug 2016Great little light! It gives off just the right amount of light, the "arms" are very flexible and easily adjust to wherever you want to shine the light, it's super lightweight, easy to move from place to place and can be used anywhere it can be clipped or the clip can be used as a base to stand the light up. (I've never used it standing up, only clipped to something.) I don't find there to be alot of difference in the amount of light it gives off in the low setting and the high, but you do notice it when you switch between the two. Speaking of switch, each light has its own, turns the light on and off and changes between low and high, so you can have one light on, one off, one in low setting, one in high, whatever combo you want. It took me awhile to find the switches, they're on the back of each light, flush and the same color as the unit so not easy to find. Once you know where they are, they're easy to operate. I've used the light mostly plugged into the wall outlet (AC) or the computer's USB port, very little on battery power (but have tested it). Works great powered by all three, but you must have or purchase your own USB/AC adapter to use it with AC/household electricity. The USB cord is a little short, so if you're plugging directly into a desk top computer, it can be hard to reach the area you want lit. Having a portable USB port would help there, and I have to use an extension cord when using household/AC current. The wrist band that comes with is is of no use to me, the key chain flashlight gives off a good amount of light considering how small and cheaply made it is. I don't think it would hold up to the abuse it would take hanging on a key chain that's full of keys and heavy used, and I wouldn't pay money for it, but it's a nice bonus. When I purchased this light, it was an "add-on item", priced at $7.99/free shipping if your total order came to $25 or more. At $7.99, it's a real bargain!! Price is now $11.99, free shipping with an order totaling $49 or more. While I am considering purchasing a second light, I don't want it badly enough at this point to pay $4 more so will think on that awhile. I may get another if the price drops. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the usefulness of the one I have and recommend it to anyone wanting a versatile, portable reading lamp or low-light task lamp.

Yea this thing is great.Pretty darn bright to be so small.I’d turn my light off and have that on illuminating the room. I used it as a closet light. Very useful that the two lights can go in different direction virtually however you want it too.Sturdy and last.

The lights are superbright. I am able to set it on my headboard behind me so I can flip the pages easily and still on the lowest setting it illuminates the book perfectly. I really like the fact they give you two different lights two different settings on each light as well as the flexibility of the lights. I highly recommend this product you will not be disappointed. Of course the bonus is you get freebies in the box even though I haven't used either.

This light is BRIGHT.I misunderstood the description and thought that it could charge via usb, but that is not the case. It does require an active usb connection or batteries. Each light has two brightness settings. All in all a nice light!

I was surprised how much I like this light! Very affordable and gives off a ton of light! I love the adjustable arms and 2 light tones to choose from. I use it on my kindle since my lighted cover no longer works when connected. Also great on a lap top!

This product is great! I use it all the time! Being able to use the USB cord is another great feature. I use Duracell batteries in it and so far have not had to replace them. Great value for the price.

Does not work. Of two arms, one did not turn right away; the other one went off few minutes and never got back. Batteries are fresh, the product is of a very poor quality. Returning it. Too bad I I bought it as a car reading light for a child two days before the road trip, so there is no time to find substitute.
