Work well plugged right in

The blower kit was not the right model for my product. I returned it. The manufacture no longer makes this model I have. The heat unit is glass tubes.

This was a perfect replacement part. It was easy to remove the old ones be and install the new kit for the fireplace. We are so happy to have it working again. This was a much better solution than buying a new fireplace. Now we are warm and cozy again!

I often use items in different things than what they are initially designed for. I have an older home with a 1970 Heat-a-lator insert in the fireplace. We seldom use the fireplace, mostly for visual appeal, but when we do, it is nice to have it actually add to he heating of the house in the winter. The fireplace is fed with external air. To each side is the intake for the heat system. I removed the little electric heater element and made a holder for the blower. It works ok. It doesn't push a lot of air, but it does aid in circulation.
