I purchased these to use for olive oil when cooking. I gathered by the Q&A that they were appropriate for such use. I love the idea of them but they leak very badly from the air hole if the jar is tilted too far down. For it not to leak you must pour very slowly being careful not to tilt too far. The spout is tiny making it take too long when used for cooking. It might be ok for pouring on a salad. While diagnosing the leak I tried some water in one and it works pretty well so it would probably work ok for vinegar. Since they didn't meet my needs the seller promptly issued a refund.

Love love love these! I have some from my favorite moonshine distillery (from “the land of sugar” in Gatlinburg - wink wink) but needed more. Found these on Amazon and thought I’d give them a shot. These are even better than my original ones because they have little rubber stoppers!!! Fantastic! I currently have them on pint and half pint jars of homemade margarita mix and fresh lime juice for margaritas and they work great. Going to go ahead and order more because I love them so much. And while they weren’t Prime, they were free shipping and showed up in less than a week.

I was looking for something to use with a Mason jar to make it easy for pouring liquid without the spill. This product does that! Just like pouring your favorite liquor from the bottle. And its dishwasher safe, and has a stopper attached so it seals up nicely.

These lids fit perfectly on top of my mason jars. They prevent leakage and control the flow of liquid from the jars nicely. The only issues is that if the liquid has a higher sugar content, you WILL need to run the lid and jar under a hot water stream to loosen it before you remove it from the empty jar.

I got these things solely to use with liquor in mason jars. These screw on to the jars securely and have an attached spout stopper that's appropriately sized (secure and easy to get in/out).Don't discard the gaskets no matter how well you think the lid will seal without them. If the lids aren't screwing on easily then ensure that the gasket isn't bunched up or stuck on the lid threading.

I was really excited to see this item for sale. Threading the lid onto the mason jar is a bit tough but eventually fits well. This design is meant only for pouring and does not seal. I was silly enough to turn it upside down to check. It is a good product to use but I remove the pour top and reinstall the ball jar lid to store.

This looks great, but the threads aren’t made right and it doesn’t seat right on standard glass jars (Ball, Kerr, Mason). Because the threads don’t tighten down the lid leaks all over from the rim. Super sad about this one.

Be careful when placing cap on item. Leaks very easy do not over tighten.Must light up perfectly
