Fan Mist Kit for Outdoor cooling - Low Pressure Fan Misting System - Brass/stainless Steel Misting Nozzles

I installed the fan. The instructions were pretty much worthless. My main problem with this product is that the misting nozzles put out way too much mist and tend to leak at the connections and often spit rather than mist. You really do not want to be hit in the face with water drops when you want a cooling mist. The picture of the product shows 12 nozzles but the kit only came 4. I live chatted with the MistingCool and they said that I have .015 nozzles and suggested that I try .012 nozzles. I also saw .008 and.006 for higher pressures. I wonder if that was the other nozzles shown and the spitting is being caused by the pressure being to high? Since the nozzles are $ 3 each, with a minimum order of 10 plus shipping I am hesitant to experiment. The humidity is high today maybe it will be better when it is lowerFoolishly ordered .012 nozzles for the fan to replace the .015 nozzles. Only to find that the final fitting was leaking. These are one shot compression fittings. No way to fix and good luck finding replacements. I am leaving it at 1 star because at least the fan is good.

Great investment for my patio. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. I've looked into installing a misting system and the permanent, high-pressure, professional systems are not only exceedingly expensive, but require equipment that makes a lot of noise (which probably wouldn't work for my scenario). So the alternative is a low pressure system that essentially gets you wet more than anything.I chose this item because it has brass nozzles as opposed to plastic. I've toyed with various misting products in the past and plastic nozzles don't really hold up. It's not totally "pre-assembled"—you have to screw the nozzles into the ports on the hose. That's easy, but I had some water spraying from the fittings until I took a wrench and lightly tightened them.The mist is about what you can expect from a hose with typical residential water pressure. I have it on a 24" box fan set to high, and if you're closer than 12-14 feet, you're going to get a little or a lot wet (and so will everything around it). If you don't mind that, and you can be just outside of the wet zone, the effect is perfect!I would recommend pairing this with the Orbit Arizona Mist 10109W Misting Calcium Inhibitor Filter or similar device, as I've found misting nozzles tend to clog quite quickly if they are not behind some type of filter.

Waaaaay too much money for what it is. I ordered another for $19.99 along with this order from another seller it it is so much better. I feel completely ripped off. My advice is, search a while longer, don’t be fooled. This should not have cost more than $20.00! Not nearly $60. I’m so embarrassed, I read got taken this time because it is 110 here and my horses was suffering.

It came in the box with absolutely no instructions on how to assemble water filter, mist line and valve. Online instructions not available either. Water filter looks like someone cut both ends that are supposed to have adapters to attach filter.I contacted seller several times about the filter and nozzles. I received prompt responses and filter replacement that does not require misting line to be cut. Since I attached filter with no leaking or problems but my nozzles started spitting instead or misting water. Soaking in CLR did not help. I am not sure if filter reduced water pressure or nozzles get clogged and CLR didn't help. Contacted Mistcoolig again and they said they were sending me replacement nozzles.I appreciate their customer support and hope that new nozzles will solve the issue. I also received much better instructions.Fan has been working great with no issues.

Only able to give 4 stars for the time being as we've not had a chance to install it and put it into operation. There was a bit of a mix up with the order and we initially received the wrong fan. However, Mistcooling corrected the error. The fan we now have is a powerful one, appears to be well built and we are very pleased with the product and the price we purchased it for.

For something so simple, this is a well designed kit. Packaging was excellent.I was able to assemble this on my fan for the patio in a matter of minutes.Surprising how little the faucet had to be turned on in order to get a really nice mist coming out.Once the fan was on and oscillating, it really cooled the patio down

literally every one of the nozzles leaked. Complete waste of time and effort

I'm using this little mister almost every 90 degree day. It's been very hot here in the North East and this mist kit is really getting a work out. It really does help keep us cool when we're out by the swimming pool. Sometimes I even have the fan blowing the mist over the pool.
