Genuine Honda 17670-T3W-A01 Fuel Filler Cap

My original gas cap broke and I tried to pick up a replacement from an auto parts store, but my dash kept popping up with 'check fuel cap' because I guess the off brand cap wasn't sealing properly. Finally caved and bought this one because it was labeled as the Genuine Honda part, and it worked perfectly and the error message hasn't popped up again.

Perfect fit, no problems.

Genuine Honda part, fit great. It does not include the tether push clip, but I was able to reuse the old one after prying it apart

I purchase this gas cap to replace the original that comes with the Honda. After I replaced with this cap, It still shows that close gas cap. I purchase this magic lube and applying the rubber band and install it to gasoline tank. It was tight and stop showing gas cap problems. When I change the engine oil on my vehicle I will service my gas cap also.

Says it's a honda product but the tether doesn't fit my accord. The cap fits but i had to switch tethers.

2009 Honda Civic (replace gas cap a few month ago with regular Amazon gas cap) because it kept on saying on dashboard “tighten gas cap” After a month it went away, but then the check engine light came on. After doing research, I found out that you must replace the gas cap with an OEM part design specifically to fit the Honda Civic. I replaced the gas cap with this part and the Check engine light turned off after driving it for a day. It has not come back on !!

Fixed my problem

The cap seems like a genuine part, but it did not fix the fuel cap warning on my 2011 Honda CRV. This is probably not any fault of the cap, but if you're getting an intermittent fuel cap warning you may want to look elsewhere for a permanent fix.

Way to expensive for a fuel cap, dont buy from Honda! Go out and buy a non OEM, way cheaper.
