That works great. But the new neoprene based formula does not work at all. Each PVC backsplash comes in a roll; it is therefore recommended that you use either an object to hold down one side of the roll while rolling it out or have someone help you hold it on the other side to ensure ease and stability. 1.Measure the total length of the piece you wish to install. Cut the piece at the desired length, with regular scissors. 2.Fit the piece under the cupboards 3.Apply glue contact cement on the back of the back splash and on the wall where you are going to attach it. We suggest Gel Contact Cement. 4.Let the glue dry till it become tacky and attach the piece to the wall, squeezing out all the air from behind the back splash. You are done! Now you can cover the edges of a back splash with metal wood plastic edging and start enjoying your new back splash!

Way Too Thin
I will not use this for the backsplash I had originally planned on. This is very thin, feels very cheap (hence the 100 bucks). But, I will instead use it for a ceiling in my pantry. If the product is never touched it looks nice, but the second you touch it you can feel its cheapness.

The material itself looks great in my kitchen setting. This material is somewhat brittle so you have to take care not to bend it at too great an angle or it will crack and split. Would also recommend that you put some kind of seal coat on the faux finish. Te faux will come off if taped or rubbed too hard. There is slack in the material because it is embossed. Roll it out completely and lay it in the sun for about an hour and it will relax the material and make it easier to work with. If you take these precautions it is a beautiful back ground. You would have to really look hard to notive that it is not the real thing.
