Alive and reproducing!
All 5--plus a freebie, for a total of 6--survived the trip from the seller! It's been a couple of months, and I just noticed my first babies crawling around the tank. I would not buy more. Even if you have a large tank, they'll quickly increase their population on their own to take care of your algae. I might be looking at getting a new pet assassin snail or pea puffer if they keep getting along this well, but for now I manually remove eggs every week. My purchased snails are translucent pink or golden brown, so I'm pleased as they're pets in my ecosystem right now, and not feeders. I think they're good looking, and they're always on the move and up to something. I would purchase again if I needed to, but I will probably never need to.

Packaged well, very healthy
Snails arrived a little faster than expected. They were packaged very well in an insulated box. The snails themselves were very healthy and started moving around their new tank right away. They are on the smaller side but that is actually for the best because the younger ones adapt to a new environment easier than the adults. Over all, I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for some healthy, young Ramshorn snails.

Very tiny
The snails became appetizers for my fish. The photo of the snails make them look much bigger, they were smaller than ladybugs! The seller was prompt with delivery, and they did arrive in good condition. I am just aggravated that I bought an expensive snack for my fish.

Snails arrive alive.died after a week
The package was packed very well. I was expecting larger snails. The image shown to sell them need to reflect what is being shipped. Over all the snails were alive and adjusted to my tank. Is there any way to get adult snails? After a week 7 out of the 20 snails died. The snails were no bigger than a dime. Seller is not willing to replace dead snails. Waste of money.

PROLIFIC MULTIUPLIERS!
It all began with 5 little snails. I had an algae problem in my classroom tank. I was so impressed by how quickly they cleaned it! A student came over and said "I think these two are mating!". I thought nothing of it. Within two days, I saw egg patches and thought "cool, the kids can learn about snail life cycles!". Within two weeks, there were hundreds. The second picture is an assassin snail, seemingly being overran. Please be prepared. I found after purchasing that I should have researched more prior. These guys are hermaphroditic. They can change gender. Also, they can reproduce asexually. So please make sure that you want a lot of them before you order any, or purchase along with another friend to help with population control (I opted for assassin snails and am currently researching because I try to learn my lesson plecostomus/loach to add to our mix!)! 😅 they clean and reproduce. They came healthy, hardy, and well-packaged. If they are what you want, you will get more than your money's worth!

GREAT CLEANERS!
I have never understood why people in the tank community are so against snails. I ordered these because my 3 pond snails were not keeping up with a black beard outbreak in my tank. I ordered these guys and within about a month I probably had over 100 snails. Now many would view that as a problem, but my tank as NEVER been more clean. The combination of these snails and my 5 corys keep the tank sparkling. I literally have to do no work when it comes to cleaning the interior of the tank. Before I was losing plants to the algae and had to scrape the glass twice a week at least. You might not the like aesthetics of all these snails, but they are such a big help for a clean tank. That being said the only issue I did have was that they killed my other 3 snails. I dont think they meant to, but they did such a good job searching every square inch of the tank for food that this actually included going into the shell of my much larger 3 pond snails. It seemed that really damaged and hurt the pond snails. That or they starved due to the massive competition for food once the new snails took over. Now I just feed excess snails to my turtle who loves them as a treat. If you have an algal issue get these!!!

Best algae cleaners you can possibly find!
I was skeptical when looking at reviews and pictures as well as when I first received the snails. But after that skepticism everything went wonderfully well. The snails do arrive in oddly small packaging wrapped with paper but they're totally fine. Also if you've never bought them before like myself and I think like some other reviewers, they do look dead when you buy them. I just took a chance and dumped all of them into the water and just left them there and within 15 minutes or so they were all crawling around to come out of their shells. Next, I wish to God I had taken before pictures of my tank. I had previously bought shrimp to control the algae growth in a 5 gal beta tank and nothing was keeping up with it even my bi-weekly cleanings. The algae would run 9 in streamers within 2 days It was ridiculous. within a few weeks of having purchased these snails all of the algae was gone. Next, I was concerned when they started laying eggs that I would have hundreds of snails and so at first I would scrape away all of the eggs. In hindsight that was a mistake because these snails don't have a very long lifespan just a few months. They grow very quickly but then they die. I left at least one egg glob in the tank and those baby snails grew up but many of them trapped themselves underneath the gravel and end up dying because they go in between the small rocks to try to clean and then they can't get out as they grow. So now my first generation has died my second generation is very small and I'm not sure that they will be able to keep up with the allergy until they get a little bit larger but we will see. All of the adult snails died within the last two weeks. Again 100% satisfied with these snails as algae cleaners.
