I lined two cups with olive oil to with butter and the butter was the best. Released very easy clean up was very simple. I want to try the egg timer in the boiling water to see how close it is to the poaching eggs view a further review to come. And the stand is very sturdy the cup handles are excellent to remove the cups and they are screwed together for easy cleaning when needed to take apart

The instructions didn't mention spraying the cups with oil (or wiping with butter) before use but I'd read the reviews and sprayed lightly with Pam oil spray. Eggs cooked PERFECTLY in exactly 5 minutes and they slid out of the cups when the cups were tilted. Fabulous product, great buy. Super easy to wipe clean.

I’ve tried so many methods to poach eggs, but always ended up with unsightly egg messes.This set makes it SO much easier and the eggs turn out perfect every time.Just line each cup with a touch of oil or butter to prevent sticking.In addition to placing tray with the metal cups in hot water, I also top up each cup with the same water, making it cook faster.And use a small spatula to loosen the sides when removing the poached egg.

It is perfect, makes great poached eggs: cooked to an exact doneness, with no mess. Do not need to oil …the eggs slips out of the holder with ease. Cleanup is so easy too.

This wasn’t bad, we found it didn’t stay upright in our pot that great. The eggs didn’t stick, and it’s pretty easy to clean. The little rubber finger things though, didn’t seem to protect from heat very well
