Great for acid reflux
Personally, I'm on a prescription for my acid reflux. Some days are better than others, but this really helps when the medicine isn't enough. Certain meals trigger a bigger response with my reflux. If I'm eating an acidic meal, this is a life saver. I take one usually before the meal and one after, and there is no burning in my throat or pain. Pills are a little big but as long as you can get it down, it works miracles.

The BEST solution for nausea!
These are awesome! I’ve only been taking for two days and they make a HUGE difference in my nausea. I’m on loads of difference medications and the side effects are less than desirable.Additionally, I just don’t feel well. I’ll be following up with my doctor for possible thyroid issues or something I have no idea what’s wrong. Regardless, these have done the trick!I think people underestimate what nausea does to you. It’s debilitating - at least for me. It’s probably one of the worst things I’ve experienced and I’ve had 8 surgeries some with infections that put me back in the hospital. It’s a different kind of unbearable that ruins my whole day and causes me to not function on a normal level. It’s so nice to feel normal in that way again! I was actually able to eat dinner last night without feel horrible and wanting to throw up.I’m sorry for the TMI - I’m just so grateful. I’ve tried ginger tea, drops, sodas, etc. with no luck but these worked. I was skeptical at first but glad I did!

Excellent General Health Supplement
Ginger root compares well with turmeric (which needs bromelain for digestability), but the ginger is bioavailable on its own, and less expensive. PubMed has numerous clinical studies comparing ginger root to Ibuprofen, with the two being pretty much equal. I've been taking 2 Ibuprofen, twice a day for aches and pains (being older). I wanted to remove or reduce the pharmaceutical, and tried these capsules. They work! Ginger works to repair the problems causing aches and pains. Ibuprofen simply masks or hides the pain. I tend to prefer fixing problems, rather than hiding them.Ibuprofen cancels the pains and aches, for me, within about a half hour. Ginger doesn't do that the same way. Instead, I notice the aches or pains, but about an hour later....I forget that I have them. LOL! I mean...forget? But as the day moves along, I actually don't notice the aches or pains. And ginger seems to last longer, and it's pretty hard to take too many. PubMed articles indicate you can easily take up to 3 grams per day (3,000mg). I'm only taking maybe 2-3 of these capsules over a day, so total 1,500mg.These capsules are a typical 550mg serving -- most ginger seems to be in this range. The only reason I held back from a full 5-star review is that the capsules are the largest size for capsule. If you have any problems with swallowing, this is going to be an issue. Additionally, ginger is very light in weight, and floats, so when you try to swallow, the capsule can get caught in your throat if you're not paying attention. All things considered, I've converted to mostly ginger, while still using Ibuprofen if it's a bad day. I pay attention, and if I'm having an issue with swallowing, I just combine 1 capsule with a spoonful of applesauce. Works fine. This is a great price for a good product.

"For the cost a lot of pluses with this product"...
UPDATE: For all my numerous issues like GERD, OA and other injuries that have come on over the past year I have discovered that my best plan of attack for inflammation is a medley of many. Currently I am taking quercetin with bromelain, turmeric w/black pepper, ginger and cinnamon. This combo taken once before work and once at dinner (while at work) has been the recipe for success for my inflammation. I plan on ordering this product again once it runs out since my inflammation is often light to none most days with an occasional moderate day since I employed this supplement plan. I have kept my MD informed via a complete list of everything I take and we reviewed it at my last physical. I had a clean bill of health btw, other than all the various acute and chronic injuries. They avoid using a lot of questionable ingredients or fillers than other supplement makers utilize. I have grade 3 OA (osteoarthritis) of the knees and have been using turmeric as a supplement to reduce inflammation. Recently my GERD/heartburn got worse and I was unsure of the cause. I had not consumed much different in regards to food nutrition except a couple of minor brief spicy cheats. I thought maybe it was because I double-dosed the turmeric which was recommended by my MD for anti-inflammatory needs. As a result, I went cold turkey (a.k.a. stopped) on turmeric and recently switched to trying this ginger since ginger is also named (per reputable sites) to have anti-inflammatory benefits. Additionally, I started taking 2 Prilosec pills per day to alleviate my GERD. I have been on this ginger for a week taking 2 per day at 550MG per pill.My impression after the 7 days is that it is "possibly" less of an irritant to my GERD than turmeric and seems to benefit my gut. Unfortunately, my knees don't feel as good in regards to inflammation and pain as they did when I was on the turmeric. Although, they are clearly feeling better than when I was on neither of these supplements. My next test will be to stop the ginger entirely and try the turmeric again while I am now on the 2xday of Prilosec. We'll see how that turns out. If that goes well I may add the ginger back in again and see how the double benefit of both ginger and turmeric may assist my knee issues. Since I have no interest in taking hard core or prescription pain meds I am looking into herbs and supplements to see if I can improve my situation in this manner.I will update this review when I have tried this plan out.

Great for heartburns
I've been struggling with heartburn for most of my life. When it got bad, I took Prilosec. But recently that hasn't been working. I read that ginger could help so I made ginger honey tea which gave me immediate relief, but it was annoying to make every time I got a heartburn. Since buying this I rarely have heartburns and when I do it's because I haven't taken it for a few days. It's so easy to take and so effective. I feel much more comfortable taking this long term over Prilosec. I can even eat my favorite spicy foods now!

Decent quality
Been buying this for a couple years now and it seems to work well. Not a good suppository though, had to learn that the hard way. You ever feel a peppermint melt inside you ? That’s what it felt like, with a touch of Christmas cheer
