Great book Super easy to learn phrases and great size to carry around with you through out the day

I studied Spanish over 20 years ago and have lost much of my ability to speak it. With an upcoming trip to a region that speaks Spanish, I needed a book I could stash in my bag and use to help me practice communicating during our travels. This book is very logically organized, has nearly all the phrases I might need, and has some basic grammar reminders. Everything is in English, Spanish, and phonetically written out with word emphasis. The word emphasis is a life saver. While I have some Spanish knowledge, this book is awesome. I am going to look for one in another language I don't know at all and use it to prepare for a visit to another part of the globe. Absolutely worth the cost.

Very small! Measures 8”x5” and is 85 pages long. Other than that, I think it will be helpful for me to work on pronunciation as it gives the phonetic pronunciation of each word.

I'm sure the information in the book will be useful. At a glance it looks like it will be helpful in learning some Spanish. However, it is not worth the $15.99 for a spiral version. Purchase the plain paper edition for $4.95. The paper in this book is thin and cheap. The spirals go through the words because it is printed too close to the edges. I liked the idea of spiral to not bend the book. Not worth the extra $10.

This book is excellent!! Simple sentences & phrases. Focus on travel & simple conversation. Small enough to put in a medium size purse & read in line at post office or Costco. Nice phonetic explanation with each sentence or phrase. Does not explain rules of the language in much detail like past tense or future or present perfect. Just a short primer at end of book.
