This device appears to have accomplished what it was designed to do. The instructions are in Chinese however all you must do is insert the cd, skip to track 3 or 4, turn up the volume until you hear a clear pop sound, place the tester near the speaker, and press and hold the blue button for the 4 pop/click cycle.If the green light flashes 3 times and red flashes once the polarity is positive (correct).If the red light flashes 3 times and green flashes once the polarity is negative (incorrect) and must be reversed.

Absolutely amazing and for a great price. The shipping did take longer than usual but well worth it. I suspected that I had a polarity/phase issue with one of my front speakers. I tried using the Speaker Pop app on my phone but it read same polarity even when I switched the positive and negative speaker wires connections. I got this device and I was able to get the proper polarity in seconds and what a difference in sound it made. I feel like a pro now... not that I wasnt before.. but this wont work whwn you start ussi g time alignment stuff from alpine.

Tested and corrected polarity. Got great improvement in sound on stereo system.

It did take a few weeks to get but worth the wait. This unit actually comes with the cd. I use it on regular basis and works fine for me. I work with car audio alot and this is a must have tool in any installers tool box.
