Nice looking, weighty, retro styled lighter. Fun to pull out and something different from a Zippo or the cheap looking standard Bic/Scripto.

Has a good heft and seems sturdy. Comes with wicks and flints, fuels up easy and lights even easier. Smooth action, and good finish. If has a class about it that puts Zippos to shame and leaves BIC in the dust.

I didn't have a problem at all getting it to light. Also seems durable enough for a lighter.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a kick ass looking lighter. But as other reviews say, it gobbles fuel, it only sparks about 1/6 of the time, and it’s a no go with a light breeze. Biggest thing for me is the unreliability factor. I thought maybe the spring tension for the flint was off, added a spacer for more contact with the wheel and flint, turns out it’s just the inferior teeth on the wheel. Because it’s so specialized I haven’t been able to find a better quality wheel. At the end of the day it looks cool on my shelf, but it’s no replacement for a good old fashioned light every time, stand the rest of time zippo.

The striker wheel and spring start off stiff but quickly loosens up to a nice pressure. I use mine daily.

The product description says that the fuel type is liquefied petroleum, gas, and if you look that up, especially under Amazon, do you only see i options for butane.I prefer butane to lighter fluid just because of the safety precautions, and how lighter fluid smells and contains contents that even when ignited can be potentially harmful if inhaled. So if you use a lighter that is fueled by typical fluid like zippo when smoking tobacco or sweet Mary Jane, the taste is ruined and potentially harmful, even with or thru a water filter/bong.So don’t be fooled. I’ll be retuning this immediately and the other butane lighter I got from them. The products are nice looking but with cheap materials that lose the ability to light the spark.I’m almost determined to learn how to design these and just make the right way to help people instead of tying to make a quick buck and waste people time.Also false advertising is illegal and there is no instruction on what fuel to actually use. Hope this company replaces my returns with something that is useful.
