Like the title says, this speaker is smaller than I anticipated. But the sound is very good. On full volume it is very loud. My wife wanted a BT speaker for the pool. This one being waterproof and floating makes it a perfect choice.

I’ve been using the Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL for a while, and it’s been perfect for outdoor trips. It’s small enough to toss in a bag, and the camo design gives it a cool, rugged look. The sound is surprisingly clear, and it handles water and dirt without any issues. The bass isn’t mind-blowing, but it’s good enough for casual listening. If you’re after something durable that you can take anywhere, this little speaker does the job well.

What can I say, other than it does what I expected it to do without any baloney or false advertising. It's not flashy (literally no blinky LED light show) but it fits neatly into my tool bag and does a good job of pumping out the tunes while I'm working on a job site. The battery life is decent, not exceptional but it's super easy to charge from any USB-A outlet nearby. My only real issue is that the built-in charge port is a Micro USB, rather than a Type C which would have been much more convenient. $30 is a bit steep for what you get, but if you get a deal, go for it.

Excellent little Bluetooth speaker. I bought two to use as a stereo system in my dance studio. Works great.

Perfect. Sounds great and battery lasts around 6 hours. Charges completely in about an hour.

I use this, paired with my phone, to transmit pistol shooting range commands for practice sessions while competitive pistol shooting. Perfect! Nice and small to fit in my range box or bag, great volume range - I can hear everything even with ear protection on, easy to place on or in my shooting box to direct the sound to me while I'm practicing. I've even used it when 3-4 of us are shooting practice matches and we need to all hear the ranges commands spoken from behind the firing line, with the speaker directed at our ports. This is a super value and works perfectly! I've recommended it to many friends as well.

Highly recommend Altec Lansing Baby Boom. When paired put out a rich quality sound with crisp highs and punchy bass. Loud indoors the music and stage fills the entire room. Discretely placed in each corner guests are amazed when they see where all that great sound is coming from. Outdoors on the patio or by the pool I get to enjoy the music I like. Whether one or two speakers are in use great sound is sure to follow. Baby boom is definitely on top for its price. I usually have them blasting for three hour intervals… got other things to do other than swim. 5 stars and thank you Altec Lansing and Amozon.. I also have H2o and Hydramini which are also very nice… just not quite as nice… Other speakers i have… Altec Soundrover (x2) five stars, Harmon Kardon Onyx 3’s and 4’s 5 stars and The ultimate surprise, High quality , feature packed W-King H10 Karoke, Wireless mic and guitar input 5 high quality stars… Every speaker mentioned has its own equalizer setting in my iphone to reach its optimum sound quality for my taste. There are no bad sounding speakers in my collection…but are BAD ASS in their own way. Different applications/ uses…On the back of a Ram pickup… Dewalt 20v max also thumps out an amazingly loud sound… just place it in the rear corner of the bed… and crank it up…
