I purchased this for my teenage daughter, being bored at home with the pandemic I have been looking for ways to keep the kids intrigued ..We have grown 3 crystals so far (see photo) they came out so pretty!! We are excited to do the others.Couple of learning moments - the mixture stains everything, so be careful with it. Ours took about 6 days to grow, and we probably could have let it go longer. if you lose any of the small fragments in the solution, they will also spawn crystals off on the corners or wherever they end up.So A good pair of rubber tongs to gently but firmly place that piece of glass is recommended.The typical plastic tongs can't hold it well while trying to place it on the small stand in the container. We will soon be pros!!Also came beautifully boxed so would’ve made a great Christmas gift..totally worth the money!

So far my kids and I have only done one experiment, but we really enjoyed doing it together. We're waiting the recommended 2 to 5 days for the crystals to form before trying thr next experiment. It's appropriate for both my 7 and 9 year old with adult supervision. They both enjoyed working together. I read the intro to crystals to them and lost my 7 year Old's attention a bit but it appears they are retaining some of the learnings. So far, this is a good educational and fun investment.

I bought this as a gift to give to a 10 year old girl, so I cannot say anything about the quality of the item or how well it works. I can say that my 11 year old son picked it out and now wants one of his own. It arrived in 1 day! A day earlier than expected. It was packaged well and looked exactly as pictured.

Bought this for my 5 year old..he is very excited about the set. We do 2 crystal making every week. The only problem is the crystals break easily. I wish they were a bit more durable. But definitely a fun set to have fun for kids watching the crystals grow..

My 6 yr old daughter loved this! Definitely need help by an adult but is fun for her to watch crystals grow

The directions for the different experiments were not the easiest to follow, after several steps of mixing different components we found out that we don’t get results for five days, which was disappointing for my nine-year-old.

Both my grandchildren along with their Moms loved sharing the experience of combining the ingredients and watching these crystals grow...I got to see them and yes they were very pretty.. well worth the cost.. and memories made! 🌹

I absolutely loved doing this project with the three year old, it included all of the ingredients and there’s tons of different EASY experiments to do. Tonight we did the star crystals. We covered the top of the cup and set it on a bathroom counter so it wasn’t disturbed. Crystals have already formed within less than 3 hours.
