It is what it is
It is exactly what the title and description say. Pieces of limestone. We got about 6 small pieces in our bag. I did not purchase these for the classroom or any kind of specimen showcase. I actually purchased them for some of my isopods that are naturally found in limestone caves. The limestone is decent quality and is definitely limestone.

Good for Science Fair
If your kid is doing a science fair project about sink holes, acidity, or erosion, these work well. Not all the same size though, there was a difference of about 20g from smallest to largest.

As described
The media could not be loaded. I received this item as described. I added a couple to my tank and it seems to have helped naturally adjust the pH levels. I have a small tank and used two in it.

Oolites could be more distinct
The oolites in my sample weren't very distinct. But delivered promptly in good shape.
