"cozy" mystery series
About 3-4 books in the series...a good break in between other fictional novels

Great Fun!
I read this one straight through. Lots of action on this small island with nuns visiting for a retreat and the friends of Bea Cartwright, helping out to take meals to the nuns. Had to laugh when I read the introduction and how she had to research nuns. Grew up with nuns as part of my life, so had never thought they would be something that had to be researched. Sending my copy to nuns, so they can get a kick out of this story, and ask .them to tell me how accurate the nun characters were, I know they will enjoy hearing that all nuns look alike. Reminded me of some of the nuns I knew in High School. Have put all of Kylie Logan's books on my library list. Great Fun and kept me guessing until the last few pages. Loved the regional Ohio/Michigan island area and made me homesick--planning a Fall trip back to see family and friends.

Terrific
This is a page turner. Sometimes it only takes a page or two to know the book is going to be engrossing and this, for me, was the case.Honestly, by the time I was halfway through the story, I suspected everybody including one or two of the nuns. Ten nuns (of course) arrived on South Bass Island for a week's retreat and shortly, one of them was murdered. The comparison (in the story) to Dame Agatha's"And Then There Were None" is very well written. The writing just holds your attention. The secondary story concerning friend and next door neighbor Chandra kept me guessing also and I did not figure it out before the end. This really is a most enjoyable series. There are now four books in the series and none disappoint. Highly recommend.

Love this series!! A Great Read!!
The Fourth book of the series of League of Literary Ladies. The characters are likable! Bea Cartwright is the owner of B and B and is responsiblefor taking meals to ten visiting nuns who are here on a retreat and staying at The water's Edge Center for Spirit and Renewal on the island. The retreat is shattered when one of the nuns is found dead on the retreat and shortly after a second nun is found dead. The league of Literary Ladies, Chandra, Kate and Luella agreed that these murders are similar to the Agatha Christie Book And Then There Were None. Bea and The literary Ladies set out to question the nuns. Bea hopes to find the killer before another nun is found dead.

Fun!
Homage to Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (10 Little Indians). Follows the original very well. Who would want to kill a nun? Why? As Bea and the rest of the Literary Ladies look for clues, Bea's secret comes out as does Levi's. I enjoyed this story. Chandra is as crazy as ever and the reason is a hoot. Hank trusts the Literary Ladies and they do what they do best. I liked the librarians who were staying at Bea's. Well done. I look forward to reading the next book.

Good read
Good read. I've read a couple of other books in this series, couldn't resist the title after just seeing the new version of And Then There Were None recently. Not a very close match to the plot line of the classic, expected serial murders with one common motivation, but still enough parallels to be fun. Having nuns at the center of the story was unusual and interesting (different modes of dress woven into the plot line, etc.) I was getting really annoyed with one of the regular characters, but all's well that ends well.

Kylie Logan sails the fourth in her League of Literary Ladies series.
Kylie Logan continues her wonderful series involving The League of Literary Ladies and South Bass Island in book number four of this series. Bea Cartwright owner of B and B Bed and Breakfast returns and agrees to provide meals to nuns who are holding a retreat at the Water's Edge Center for Spiritual and Renewal. Unfortunately someone has it in for one of the nuns and it stirs not just Bea but also her fellow Literary Ladies to track down just who that person(s) might be. Being a fellow Ohioan, I love the fact that it involves our beautiful islands located off the shore in Lake Erie.
