So delicious. Perfect pasta for bolognese

This is an excellent made pasta. From Italy using the best ingredients. Ours seemed stale. There is no way of knowing when this pasta was made and how long it took to get to the US.$9lb is very spendy. My palate isn't sophisticated enough to the tell the difference of high end dry pasta.

I wanted to try these out so I made a basic dish with some vodka sauce and meatballs although I admit I should have made a meat sauce rather than meatballs but neither impacts the taste here.I know I could buy cheaper big name pastas in a grocery store and admittedly I don't know if I can taste anything really special here to set it aside from other pastas but I'm sure someone else may be able to. For me its especially less noticeable when you add a sauce or other fixings, but I did like the texture of these as a thicker pasta noodle. What you get may not look like much but the 1lb of noodles does saturate a bit when cooked as you'd imagine and I felt the end result was worthwhile for the cost. I don't think I'll be loading up our cupboards with multiple packs but I would consider buying these again to give me a different type and texture of noodle that I now know I'll enjoy!

I received the product in a damaged condition, the seams of the bag containing the pasta has totally split open and the entire contents were just loose in the amazon envelope. The pasta itself looked really good and was not broken so I think its their own manufacturers packaging that is the issue (not mishandling).

This is really delicious pasta. The taste and texture are both excellent.I was also impressed that 100 grams (a typical serving) has 13 grams of protein. Different kinds and even brands of pasta have different amounts of protein, but that is an unusually high number. For me, that means that this pasta is a good meal choice, not just a tasty fun food.I will definitely continue to use this pasta. The shape and texture seem ideal for casseroles or baked pasta dishes as well as just eating it with a sauce.

I made home made Mac n Cheese with these as well as a pasta with meat sauce and mozzarella.The instructions are basic as in they say , cook 10 minutes lolFor the oven baked pasta I shortened the boiling time to 8 minutes. As they baked they finished cooking to a lovely texture. I found the shape to be beautiful for holding fillings and cheese in these types of dishes.The flavor is almost nutty on their own and they paired well with all types of cheeses. Overall, I would definitely purchase again! 5 perfect pasta stars

Last night I made a spinach and almond pesto for this pasta in my new Thermomix machine and it came out absolutely PERFECT. So delicious and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this brand of pasta. Good quality.

Love how this works with different sauces. Also pretty when presented in a dish
