Bedding made easy How did you come up with the idea for this product? To me, there's always been something ultra-comfortable about the "European" way of sleeping—a fitted sheet on the mattress and a soft duvet cover over a warm down duvet or comforter without using a flat sheet. When I went away to college, this became my sleeping arrangement of choice. The absence of the flat sheet provided a simple, cozy and comfortable setting. I didn't get wrapped up in the sheet in the middle of the night or find it at the bottom of my bed each morning. It also offered a way to quickly make-up the bed each day (especially in the dorm and sleeping porch top bunks) without having to constantly adjust/align the top sheet and tuck it in. The only difficult part was the constant washing and drying of the duvet cover to ensure a clean bed. I hated taking the comforter in/out of the cover and then reinserting it every week. In 2007 during a trip to France with my husband, I was reintroduced to the ease and comfort of the European sleeping method sans flat sheet. It brought me back to my college years and how I missed the carefree way of sleeping. That night with much jetlag, I came up with the idea of my bedding system. I had figured out a way to deliver a detachable sheet on a duvet cover allowing for a better night's sleep, ease of cleaning and (the best part for every day) a perfectly made bed in seconds. Shortly thereafter, I got to work on my first of many prototypes and filed for my patent. Since then, we have been successfully making our integrated duvet cover + flat sheet bedding system products. Great!
I've been wanting a product like this for a while. My partner goes to war with the top sheet every night and it turns into a twisted, crumpled mess at the bottom of the bed. Having the top sheet attached to the duvet prevents this.There's a reviewer complaining about the velcro squares being at your face- we did that at first but realized we had the sheet backwards/inside out and the squares should be on the top and well away from your face. The design works well.The only thing I don't like is the white. I have a large black dog and a black cat- their fur gets everywhere including on the bed. I may end up dying it or getting a throw. We'll see.I'd also like for it to have come with pillow cases and a fitted sheet because we had to then purchase those separately. Oh well. Overall, love the concept and it's working well for us.

Not for me
I was not too impressed with this item. Ended up giving it to Good Will. Not good quality, wrinkles easily and could not figure out the whole comforter concept.

I feel like I had to write this review because this product is quite expensive and I'm frankly surprised how much the other reviewers liked the product. First off, this is basically just a regular duvet cover with a flat sheet semi-attached to it on the bottom. My favorite part about the product is the fact that the duvet cover is VERY soft and cozy. However, the way that the flat sheet attaches on is terrible. It's fixed on with zippers on the side that are pretty rough. More importantly though, it's attached with rectangular pieces of Velcro on the underside right where your chest would be if covering up. The corners of the Velcro really hurt and have woken me up several times in the middle of the night. Additionally, the whole sheet thing sounds like a good idea, but it gets all bunched up and I honestly can't wait to get rid of the thing. I also feel like the top of the duvet still gets dirty, so I don't think that this really cuts down on how much you have to wash it. Lastly, one of the ties in the inside of the cover was missing- it didn't really affect the performance, but it was just kind of disappointing given how much the product was. I feel like the company should have better oversight of the product.

Perfect solution for top sheet haters.
I'm one of those people that HATES top sheets. I also hate changing my duvet because it's annoying to get it off, wash it and put it back on again. Enter Simplified Bedding: This makes it so easy to have a layer between us and our duvet cover that's also easy to wash! I don't get tangled up in the sheet either! It's great!

Tiny Home living survival tips!
This is a product that exceeds my expectations. I know, you say so what, make the bed, what's the big deal ?!To start with, the sheets are wonderfully soft and comfy. But the most important thing, and I know you all think this is crazy, but the sheet and the duvet cover all stay together. This may sound kind of "meh, who cares" type of thing, but it's really, really nice. I love the fact that I never have to tuck in the sheet, yet because the duvet cover and the top sheet are connected, I never have that "top sheet is messed up" feeling.We live in a very tiny home (a motor home) and to be able to just pull the cover up, and the bed is made is wonderful. I purchased a king size for my queen bed because I like some overhang. This was probably a mistake. I would have been fine with the queen size cover. It is meant to hold a duvet so it is larger already. The worst part is this seems to be so well made, it will be a long time before I need a new one, and then I will purchase the queen size.It is hot out now, so I am not using a blanket in the cover, the three sheets (duvet holder and top sheet) provide the perfect summer weight "blanket". I have a down blanket to put into the duvet when it gets colder. These are also made of all cotton, and breath wonderfully.I have paired this top sheet set with what I consider to be a miracle bottom sheet for hard to get at beds, QuickZip QuickZip 2 Pack, the Only Fitted Sheet that's Quick to Change, Easy to Fold and Doesn't Pop off of the Mattress, 400-Thread-Count Sateen Cotton, Deep Pockets (15"), White, Queen

Duvet cover
I LOVE this duvet cover. I was concerned that 300 count would not be soft. Boy was I wrong!! I was also disappointed that I could only get it in white. Now I'm so glad that I have white. By adding some colorful pillows and a throw at the foot of the bed I can change the look without a lot of expense. The thing that is best of all is being able to unzip the sheet and wash it without taking the comforter out and struggling to get it back in the duvet cover. I have ordered another one for my queen bed and also one as a wedding presentThank you simplified bedding!!!!!
