Almost Invisible Speed Scoop - Light, Stainless Steel, Sift Free Wire Cat Litter Scoop

If I could give this thing more than 5 stars I would glady do it!! :)As a crazy cat lady I have many litter boxes. With the old scoops, even those I paid a lot for, it seemed like I'd spend half the day scooping boxes.I tried almost every scoop & every litter on the market trying to figure out why the boxes never sifted well & took forever to clean.It was definitely the scoops!I have one box everyone loves for some reason. They pollute that one to the extreme even when they have several other clean ones that are exactly the same to choose from. I always dread that box so started there with this... OMG! O.oA box that would normally take me a minimum of 20 minutes took me less than 2! With the first scoop I was hooked & knew I would be ordering at least one more. :)This thing is huge yet can get in to the corners & easily grab those clumps you normally have to scrape & scrape to get free. Plus, the design lets litter sift out the sides too so you don't even have to shake it, it does all the work for you! :) A jumbo litter box took 3-4 swipes - it's just amazing! :)Yes, the price is up there but it's truly worth every penny. I honestly can't recommend it enough. If you're on the fence about spending the money, jump down & buy it because it will save you time & money on all those cheaper scoops & wasted litter in the long run! :)

This scoop is good and could be great. I bought it to test, with the intention of buying several more if it had been great. BTW, their website sells these cheaper and with quantity discounts for 1, 3 or 6 scoops. I knew ahead that it would leave small bits to get with another scoop. It did go through both silica and clay litters easier than other scoops and made getting poop and clumped pee faster. As I have multiple cats, and litter pans, that is helpful. However, the thick front bar butts up against clumps stuck to the pan rather than prying under them. This could have been solved (finished) by grinding down the front bar to a beveled edge. That cost one star. The other star is for the bare wire handle which is actually painful after a couple of scoops. In my case with the first scoop since my hands are getting arthritic. The lack of a padded cover for the handle is an omission that I can think of no rational explanation for. It is simply a sloppy ommission that ruins the product. I suppose I could buy some cork tape from a bike shop and wrap it, and I might. However, at this price, we the customers should not have to finish their product. As for the front edge, a metal grinder is beyond my reach. I can only hope the manufacturer corrects these flaws for future customers.

Just buy this! My old scooper was a really nice stainless steel one, the kind you find at pet stores. The dust from it is terrible. I was looking for a way to keep the dust down and stumbled on this one. It actually is pretty much dust free but also lightning fast too! I wish I had gotten this years ago. The little bars are close enough to not really leave much behind either. Super happy. It was $23 which is pretty expensive but for all the dust and ease of use, I'd buy it again!

The design of the scoop part is perfect, and quickly grabs the nasty stuff from litter boxes. The handle, though, is also made of the same wire material, and (1) it's uncomfortable to hold, especially if you have small hands (don't want to give the kids another excuse why they didn't empty the litter boxes), and (2) you can get your fingers stuck in between the wires on the handle, and theoretically could jam/break a finger if you aren't careful. Haven't done the 2nd one yet, but have come close. Be careful and you should be fine.

This one was a little bit more expensive, but let me tell you it is def worth the few more dollars. I have a few scoops now & this one is just a tad bit better then litter lifter which I still highly recommend as well, These save you so much time as they really do sift so much faster with really no shaking required!! Trust me those other metal scoops heavily advertised here are no match, they do take longer for the litter to fall through which can mean more dust etc. The only thing I would recommend as some others pointed out with this one, is the handle should be padded, But get one! You will not be disappointed! as it puts others to shame.

The scoop works great! The handle is hard on your hand unless you wear rubber gloves, which I do.

This is THE perfect scoop for sifting pellet litter. It allows the dust to easily fall through the slats. Certainly good for clay litter, too.

Just like the other reviews said: great on large clumps, so-so on corners/small pieces; gotta wrap the handle yourself. I use this for the big stuff (makes scooping very fast) and a cheap plastic one for cleaning up corners and little bits. Probably not realistic to expect one to do all these different tasks well, since a different design is needed for each. This is very sturdy and well-made and should last forever.
