They wear so soon

These seem really good value for the amount of them you get.The nibs arrive in little plastic storage boxes, that don’t take up much room, but keep them clean, safe, & secure until they’re required.I should imagine it would take me forever to use them all, they seem really good quality & built to withstand a lot of use, so much so, that I’m now left questioning whether I should have bought quite so many!One word of warning though, these nibs are pretty sharp, so be careful when you’re inserting them or removing them from your nib holder, or you might manage to stab yourself with one like I did (don’t ask! 🤦🏼‍♀️😆)Stabbing wound aside, a great purchase! 🖊

As a calligraphy beginner I previously ordered a varied set of nibs. I struggled to get definition between line thickness. I swapped to these and it was like magic! Also purchased vellum to reduce 'tooth' and experience less paper deposit on nib. Just goes to show... you need the right tools.

Great for copperplate calligraphy, I've been practicing for a few weeks now. I have tried a few different inks, I have found Waterman intense black ink works best so far. I tried burning the nib to get the ink to flow but this did not work for me; instead I poke it in to a potato( something to do with the alkaline?) And this keeps the ink flowing!

The zebra G nib is less scratchy than the nikko G.. I bought 2 nikko G nibs and had to throw them away. Too scratchy and digs into the paper. The zebra has far less scratch and didn't dig in so much. The 2 x 10 offer is outstanding because I've seen zebra G nibs being sold at £2.50EACH. If this offer is still available get it.. I bought the offer twice. The retailer is recommended no problems at all.

This is the first nib I used when learning to write in calligraphy and was recommended by my tutor at the time. I thought the price of this deal was great value for money and I continue to enjoy using the Zebra G nib. Lovely smooth nib and ideal for a beginner who might be a little heavier handed. Also great for any kind of modern calligraphy work.
