Great Product!The Stainless Steel mounting hardware will cross thread or bind. Just know that going in. IF you get them tight you will not get them off without breaking them or cutting them. If you don't want that problem you will need to buy additional hardware. Other than that, these things are great!If it weren't for the mounting bolts being an issue these would get 5 stars.

When tight, crazy hard to release if it does at all!
Ok, so I have had these installed on my trailer for a season and a half of boating. Initially loved them, but after time when boat is tied down and buckles tight they lock up bad and will not release! Obviously the whole point is to ratchet down tight. I literally had to cut one of the straps to get the boat off my trailer. That was last year, I bought another brand to replace that one and left this reese on the other side... well at the lake yesterday and go figure... it would not release. This time I brought the socket and wrench to remove the whole assembly so that I didnt have to tow my boat unsafely with only one working ratchet. Sad a name like Reese and the price of these things they don't do what they're supposed to. If It was like 5 years or even 3 years without a problem I would not have gave it a bad review but here I am. Buy at your own risk.Installed on trailer with a 20ft inboard/outboard open bow sea ray.LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

Feel cheep. There not as good as the others I’d replaceed

Perfect for our boat school
Perfect for our boat school. We have 7 boats and have tested it for a week or so, and the trainers love it - now to measure up all the other boats and order more.
