Amazing flavour - drop the price please!
Ok, only recently become a vegetarian and still finding decent products. This, is definitely one of them. It’s got the texture of a really good meaty burger, with the flavour of a smoky Burger King char grilled product. Lovely difference is, it is so deliciously light you don’t walk away from your burger, looking at your stomach and feeling as though there is a lead wright jus sitting in there!I have heard that this burger is used by McDonalds as part of their meat free range, understandably so.My only complaint and it’s a biggy, it is so expensive! Hopefully, as the product becomes more popular, this price will come down without affecting the quality.Overall though, do try this, even meat eaters. I guarantee it will convert you!

Ok for vegetarians
I tried this on the off chance as I am conscious of how much meat I consume and would like to cut down.I think if you’re a vegetarian you’ll possibly love these as a substitute, they are nice and thick to give you a good meal and don’t skimp. For me as a meat eater though I still crave that burger taste but without the meat guilt and they fell short on that, but having said that they didnt taste awful just hit the beefy taste I would’ve liked but that’s a personal preference.I hate frying food though, so I popped one under the grill and fried the other to see if there was a difference and I can’t say there was, bit pointless the instructions say to fry them if you can grill or oven cook them too.As a meat eater I probably won’t have these that often but for vegetarians they’re probably more for them anyway.

Perfect meat-free burger for meat eaters
I really enjoyed this burger, I'm not vegan or veggie but I am trying to eat less meat. I'm finding it difficult as most of the vegan products that I've tried so far have just not been enjoyable to eat, be it in taste, texture or smell. These burgers went down a treat, I tried mine plain and it's so close to being meat it's unreal, the way it browned in the pan, the colour texture when I cut it to check it was cooked and the flavour when eaten were exactly like beef. The only difference when cooking was I needed a bit more oil to stop them from drying out and there was an unusual smell while cooking, but those aren't deal-breakers. I strongly suspect that once in a bun with salad and sauce, you would struggle to tell the difference between these and frozen beef burgers.I'll definitely be buying them again and look forward to the sausage patties, meatballs and mince I have in my freezer.

Tastes too much like real meat
My husband loves these burgers however I don’t.We are a vegan household and purchased some for a family BBQ that we was having. The burgers taste (for me) too much like real meat and I couldn’t stand the texture or taste. I had to check the box as I wasn’t sure if it was vegan (it is) or not. My hubby on the other hand loves them.I’ll stick to the BB ones in future but do continue to buy these for him & the rest of the family.I have to also say that my meat eating family was not impressed and said that they were not a good taste (however they do like the taste of dying carcass in their mouths so what do they know!!)

It has gluten
It is tasting fantastic. It tastes and smells like a real beef burger.I loved it, but I think I will not buy it again as it has gluten. It is my fault, I didn't check the label. After I ran to the toilet 5 times, I checked the label. It is too late now.If you are gluten intolerant, don't buy it.

Not the best plant burger
I wish I could give this burger a better rating as I really wanted to enjoy it, but I can’t. Firstly the texture is rather soft and a bit mushy in the middle even when cooked a little longer than the instructions say. The outside just didn’t firm up to give that feeling your are really biting into a burger. I couldn’t get it to get that al dente feel veggies are looking for. The taste just wasn’t meaty. I found it has an unidentified aftertaste that I found unpleasant. I was looking for something a little closer to a beef and oniony taste yet if I’d been given this burger as a blind taste testing I would not have guessed it was a burger. This definitely needs some major tweaking.

Meat eater no more
These burgers are delicious! As someone who was partial to a ‘proper burger’ I am a total convert and don’t buy anything else now.
