Bought this to keep an eye on the father in laws sats when he came out of hospital. Compared it alongside a different one and it was within 1% of the other one. That's accuracy for you. Display is excellent very clear and easy to read. Quality is amazing as well as accurate. Highly recommend Great value for money too.

This is the most expensive lanyard I have ever bought. The battery compartment is a strange arrangement in that both housings are identical in layout but the batteries are placed, as usual, in opposite polarity. There's a pretty red light inside but no display of any kind, even after holding the switch, pressing quickly or muttering incantations over the entire unit. I am now charging rechargeable batteries to see if the fault lies with those supplied, my gut feeling however, is that this is a duff item. Personally I find returning items to Amazon a total nightmare and, as I am shielding, this is being imagined as money spent on wine (because it's been pissed away). 'Tis a truth universally acknowledged that one usually gets what one pays for and I should have remembered that. I have been shielding since March 2020 and thought this a wise purchase. It is but I will buy a proper one, not a toy like this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED CASH on this piece of junk.
