PowerPure AP03 by Aerus, 2-in-1 HEPA Air Purifier and Ultrasonic Humidifier

Very expensive and right after warranty expired, it stopped working without being able yo fix it! Called the company, and they said can’t do anything to fix it!Really bad experience! I would’ve give it no stars if I could’ve!

Bought this unit in November. Does a good job of humidifying and cleaning the air, but the fan noise got progressively louder until unit became unusable and had to be returned.

I bought this product on another site but wanted to review it here so people see this... I had a hard time finding reviews when I was researching this machine so here it is!I have been waking up with sinus headaches and dry eyes for years... after using a slew of big box store air purifiers and humidifiers, I decided to try and solve the problem once and for all. This machine helps but hasn't been the complete relief I was hoping for.Pros: The quality of construction is very high, as are the air filters. The tank was easy to fill and place on the machine. It doesn't seem very big but lasts for a day or two without a refill. The design looks good compared to other machines as well.Cons: The fan portion is pretty quiet, but the water makes a nearly constant gurgling/lapping sound that has been difficult to get used to sleeping through. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the "night" setting is still very bright so I have to put a book over the touch buttons while I sleep. Finally, I wish the machine would show the humidity level and that there was a way to set the desired humidity. Your only options are low or high humidity so you can't tell what exactly the machine is doing... There is no section in the directions that explains this either. The steam cycles off and on, but you're really left guessing at what the point is... especially when a humidistat purchased at the hardware store still reads 20-30% (and my desired level is 40%)... really not sure why the steam stops when the humidity level is still low (and water tank is still full)When I first got the machine, it seemed to keep the humidity level at a nice 45%... then when winter (and my furnace) really kicked in, it seemed to only be able to raise the humidity level about 5% in a small bedroom (225 SF). This is disappointing, as the unit was supposed to be able to tackle 400SF.Overall, this product is just okay. It functions okay, but there are just enough small design flaws and oversights to keep me from being excited about it. If return shipping wasn't such a pain I would probably return it. It will probably be okay for summer months though, so I'm just going to suck it up and keep it.

We have had this filter/humidifier for one month. It has performed beautifully in our bedroom. On the night setting it is very quiet with just a soft fan noise. The tank will last two nights when set on high. We don't run it in the daytime. We have had a lot of humidifiers over the years and this one seems to be working fine. Filling and cleaning any ultrasonic humidifier is a royal pain. This one is no better or worse. You still have to invert the tank, fill, and then hopefully have enough strength to turn this cube of water right side up again. For us it is not a problem but for anyone with hand or wrist strength issues it could be a problem.

I need new filters and it is going to take 6 months to get them. Buy a different machine
